Good hero, bad hero? What is everyone’s take? Did blizzard miss the mark?
I think he is hot trash simply because he is pretty much a dead hero in most every game setup. I love his Q in particular because it roots him for an easy strike.

Average, maybe a bit worse than average. Mainly because of these things: Delayed Q, delayed wall and no survivability at all. He is just too static for how vulnerable he is. It feels awful to play him.
I know this isn’t much, but his winrate overall, for SL and for diamond+ SL is all pretty low, just like before.
Balance aside, he feels absolutely terrible to play right now, at least for me. I’d rather they nerf the Q damage and let him insta-cast it, if needed.
Awful.
Not fun.
Not “good”.
Not the same style of play.
Pretty much as bad as possible of a remake.
He’s just meh. Going to be relegated to the dustbin, worse than he was before, because at least before he had a weird niche he occupied. Now he’s just a meh assassin. He’s going to need another “rework” to get back up to code.
I find his playstyle very fun now. I liked his old one kinda (but honestly I always found Zarya more interesting what with the Energy management). However, he is very weak right now. Black Hole is basically useless, his health is way too low, and his tree is littered with bad talents. They leaned a little cautiously on his power level. He certainly needs some buffs.
Overall it’s not perfect, but I think his kit is in a healthier place. This version of Tassadar can be freely buffed into a useful hero without any issues, unlike the old one.
I have also noticed a bit of a flaw with his talents as applied to map. If you pick his W Psi Infusion talent at level 1 to extend the range, it puts Tassadar out of reach of experience globes. It adds yet another clunker to this hero.
That’s fine. Most mages outrange globe pickup. Tassadar’s lane clear is probably his one shining trait right now, so last-hitting creeps is no problem for him.
He has set up potential tbh, thats all
I think they nailed the SC2 High templar fantasy. I’m having fun with him and his talent tree is surprisely good. he needs a lot of tiny changes here and there but I must say I really liked.
I have to shelve him. Been playing him a ton and can only describe this new hero as “dead hero walking”.
What a shame.
Can’t speak for him on the playing side but playing against him I find myslef pleasantly suprised
I was expecting something bonkers broken and OP
instead what I got is a fairly balanced Mage, I’m not exactly casual walking up to him if I’m not playing anti-mage stuff but I’m also not horrified and insta banning him.
balance wise it feels like he’s okay.
Niche hero who requires your team to draft around him. So… No different than before!
One week in and in still having a blast playing him. He seems to be a bit more reliant on a strong frontline though, similar to KT.
Had fun doing a Q build with Archon and Nano Boost.
Overall I think the rework is just kinda “meh”, could be better, could’ve been worse though.
Not that bad, will be better with some more health.
People making pikachu faces at delayed Q and wall not like lots of other heroes have delays on their kit and need a team for setup.
Ye he fell pretty weak even tho i see some tass with over 100k dmg done but they dont get that many kills.
Old Tassadar would be easily buffed too if developers deleted Lifesteal, but nobody cares
I thought I found a good build for my style of playing but it didn’t last. Still too static, too slow, too squishy. Most importantly, I’m not having any fun playing him, so I’m not particularly interested in trying to get better.
And now I’m very afraid of what the D.Va rework might be, cause I love how she plays as of now.
Let’s talk about real issues , has his over the top scream when damaged patched?
I do not hear it anymore
