So Sick and Tired of

With the number of people upset , in several countries, i am not sure if the orange man really is that bad of a thing.

That is coming from someone living in a country where a minister caused the death of hundred of people by giving them HiV in a sanitarian scandal and who still has a political career with people not batting an eye.

Thats a little extreme.

The imbalance of the game, the abandonment felt by its developers, the disastrous AI, the lousy MM, who do reworks where no one expects or really needs it, in short problems that throughout the life of the game are not yet solve.

Lucky you people like me the event is unkind to me for some reason.

Just thank your many gods it doesn’t have that annoying kid in it from last year. Ya also get a massive amount of shards or free loot for just playing. Christmas in March sucks but what can the devs do on a small budget?

I think we’re all missing the point here. I don’t think anyone was saying that events are a bad thing. But bad events do not make the game enjoyable. Long events overstay their welcome and do not make the game enjoyable. And when you get a bad event that is long, you end up with this event that has plagued HotS like a purulent cyst since Christmas time. And that’s the problem.

You still get regular content inside the chests. Only one item is from the event. So, keep playing. Out of 40 chests, that’s still 30 non-event related items. And the event gets you more boxes than you would get otherwise since you can farm the board. So it’s just a straight win for you.

Toy event was the most popular event in HotS. (Though I’m pretty sure it has to do with how many chests people get out of it. Though that in turn makes event items less special, since everyone has lots of them.)

I actually found care bears entertaining as a kid. It had a decent plot compared to other cartoons. Popples were also very fun.

I liked the kid. He at least talked when you went around the board.

Yeah he was fine with me, but you had people on the forums saying they were threatened because they felt they were turned into children and other weird stuff.

That’s funny, because I’ve always said that no matter how good you are; no matter how great a person you can be there’s always that one guy that hates you and everything you do.

But ya see, I don’t care.

And one more thing, if you really hate the toys event so much, then just don’t pick up the free chests from the boardgame k fam? Because unlike other games that have events, you can choose not to play it and just opt for the regular gameplay because it isn’t changed at all. Perhaps you could take some ice baths to work on your sensitivity training, because if you can’t handle a few stuffed bears then I’m afraid of what the real world might do to you.

I have never cared about the loot chests. They’re garbage and have garbage in it. The actual useful stuff like boosts/heroes are so loooow % it’s pathetic. I feel sorry for new players who actually want something.

New players want gold and skins. And they love loot boxes. That’x why people love events. They get loot boxes out of them.

You don’t get gold from loot boxes. And skins are purely cosmetic. Why should newer players care about skins that they can’t even use?

Why do you suppose the free to play model works?

People like getting goodies. When a player opens a skin for a hero, and they own few of them. It motivates them to get new heroes so they can use those skins.

Once you have a hero you like, you want that hero’s skins. And the first heroes you buy are the ones you like.

Gosh you’re annoying. Ignoring you from now on.

It’s annoying for me to reply to a question you asked me? :interrobang:

in the worst case, collect chests and don’t open them until new skins release
you’ll get plenty of fresh content you may like
