Our only front line option was Chen (me), and of course they get a full tank (Blaze). Can we not do this? Although I can main tank on just about any hero, it is very annoying to be limited like this, when the enemy team doesn’t have the same handicap.

This happens all the time! So much so when I see we have a tank and the other team doesn’t I just think they didn’t have a choice. I win games like that and it feels bad. I’m just glad they don’t do this with healers.
Aaaand now a main tank Artanis against Varian/Anub. Fortunately, I know how to play and build him as a main tank, and the Unstoppable made all the difference.
Still, not exactly fun or fair.
Edit: And of course the enemy Varian takes Juggernaught at 13. Against main tank Artanis, Mana Addict KT, and Zarya. lulz

This happens in qm all the time. One team will get artanis the other team will have Diablo + imperius .
Very very often this happens
Imagine having an active on level 13 to counter all those shields!
That sure would be fun for Varian players.

Which server you play on since qm dont even give your team a tank ?
I also heard on some regions Butcher vs Butcher is now something you can experience again. Not like I would say its a good move since the snowballing Butcher has higher chance of winning then the team who got vegan Butcher.
I don’t play much, but I had this happen to me frequently for ARAM.
I once had to play a Sonya and typically felt compelled to pick Leap so we could get anything to pick on. I was getting the job done, but Leap being basically the ONLY engage/pickoff we could get it would be easily telegraphed and result as a an instant collapse onto me. The enemy team had a mediocre Garrosh, which is a good ARAM tank.
Aram hasn’t followed the Role Shift properly maybe?
Happens all the time, but I can live with this actually. I won lots of matches with D.Va or Artanis as our solo frontline, while enemy team having a proper tank.
What also happens is unfair roster, with my team having only heroes completely unsuitable for ARAM, such as Malthael or Kerrigan, while enemy team has access to all the top damage, long-range mages like Azma or Ming.
I’m not saying that ARAM is supposed to be balanced, as it’s kinda community consensus that it just isn’t. Certain heroes are extremely opressive in this mode… But who cares about ARAM balance?
But I want ARAM drafts to be freaking fair. Sometimes matchmaking provide one team with completely no strong picks, and therefore zero options for win, while the other is blessed with tons of high tier ones.

I’m honestly amazed it still hasn’t been fixed. Zarya isn’t even a bruiser, she’s a support, but her internet classification is still a tank.
When has Zarya been a tank lol.
If the support class was deleted then I’d list her as a bruiser. Just a really bad one that can’t peel except for ult. Her shielding is useless in the solo lane. But she ain’t no tank in the 4 man that’s for sure
I’d be fine with never seeing Zarya in aram ever again.
i play on korean server. Most QM games is always 1 bruiser vs no bruiser or 1 tank 1 bruiser vs 1 bruiser.
Not sure why the algo is this way. But 90% of the time its like this.
We had a game where we had nazeebo, ktz, jaina, zeratul, azmodan vs Quira, xul, kaelthas, nova, hanzo.
We got literally obliterated as xul and quira were just walking up and CCing everything in sight lo
