So, another example

Just played a game with a Deckard that didn’t use potions, he had 700 healing when the opposing Anduin had 20k, Varian would charge in 1 on 3-4-5(with no one else around) and die…and then ask the team why no one helped him. He proceeded to die 9 times in a 12 minute match. And Zagara would just push until he died, and then sit afk at the fountain until he disconnected…and then again, and then again.

All of this while the enemy team grouped up, healed, peeled, tanked, soaked, did the obj…you want to try and convince me this game doesn’t pile all of the terribles onto someone’s team to make them lose?

I had a surreal experience a few games ago.

My team, was competent. All 5 members. The enemy team was all morons. Each of them was AI bot levels of stupid, to the point that I suspected multiple disconnections from their end but the replay revealed they were just really REALLY bad.

This never happens to me. I’ve been on the opposite side of this, with moron team mates, over and over again, facing off against a coordinated death squad of opponents, but it never seems to happen the other way around except for this one game. It made my kind of upset. Why does it happen to me 100 times and to the enemy team 1?

Wow, one team was better than the other. Shocking. 50% winrate confirmed Blizz stop that!!1!

Sure, though I’m a bit rusty.

How does the game determine who’s supposed to win and who’s supposed to lose?

The theory is that if somebody wins too much, then they have to be put with a bunch of people who will make sure they lose.

But the only way to do that is to use people who have been consistently losing.

Those people would need to up their win rate so that they can get back up to 50%.

Likewise, if all the people on the other team are cooperating and playing well, then they were all obviously winning, which means that the matchmaker should have put them with a team to force them to lose. Why didn’t the matchmaker make anybody on the opposing team lose? If they didn’t have a winning streak, how would the game know they would win? If they did have a winning streak, shouldn’t they have been put on a team of losers?

Please explain how this system is supposed to work for each of the ten players in the game. I expect some spectacular math.

Either that, or bluster.

The most memorable game I ever played in HotS was with a Medivh who just flew around the map in bird form all game, and did nothing but antagonize our team-- Not trash talk per say, but more like subtle constant taunts. We were all randoms, and his actions were completely unprovoked…

Inspecting his profile after the game revealed over 1000 games played, and a mere 17% win rate. His entire match history, that I could see, was just him playing Medivh… All loses ofc.

The match maker HAS to place even people like him when he ques, even if it knows it will DRASTICALLY decrease that team’s chance of winning. I don’t believe it’s an issue of math.

game cannot see if a person plays good with a hero or not, it just sees the general stats, also, it matches up the most appropriate with u when queue.

Best is, when u play a game with some decent player in it, add him, party up with him, n play, if u carry on doing tht, in a month time (if u play daily even one game) , u will hav enough RELIABLE ppl online to make up a party of 3 at least, with time, u can hav a party of 5 going real fast

Tht solves 90% of the problems

That makes far more sense than the matchmaker specifically singling out only one person out of 9 for winning too much.
