You don’t need to get all of the shots from temples, get more than enemy could simply means you win that obj.
Even if you can’t compete but enemy is still far away/on the way to temples, just go and get some of the shots to lessen the damage to our structures, again no need to get them all, just as many as you can before you retreat.
Some heroes can solo and get all the shots from temples even you aren’t be able to kill all guardians, especially tanks so no need to fred coz no one help you capture it.

If temples spawn on top + bot at the same time in late game, try to contest the bottom one.
So many times in this situation one team goes top, and the other not only sneaks in a free Boss completely uncontested, but a temple as well. That is a big net loss for a wrong macro choice.
If you have any vision warding heroes like Zagara or Abathur, place as much vision as possible near the boss.

Going for both temples without 1-2 kills before hand is actually a very quick way to get picked/wiped and end up behind. It is considered just as greedy as taking boss with everyone up and no vision of the enemy.
