I have an honest and serious question. What is the issue with matchmaking? Specifically, I mean the lopsided team comps and steam rolls. I’m sick of playing games that are a loss right off the bat because one team got screwed
Hell, the last game I played we didn’t have a tank and they have 2…wtf…

Either your side or the other side has a bunch of hero hungry feeder ghouls who no nothing about laning or anything else.
What part of this is a “game”.

I think the main problem relies on people asking to much from QM matchmaking. Surely they can try to make more balanced comps, but pairing randoms against other randoms and create a great matchmaker hasn’t been achieved by any moba game out there.
Ranked on the other hand is the mode who truly needs a good matchmaker, and this game is doing a decent job in that department.
If you want a good matchmaker then play ranked where you have the chance to counter pick. Otherwise don’t complain about stimrolls of QM because your comp was unfairly matched to a superior one.
Use QM as nothing else than a training ground.

Losing to a 4-6 level difference is real and common.
Losing templates like 0 to 24 is another common sight in QM.
I think the bigger problem is that the match maker far too often pairs a group of 5 randos up with a 5 man premade that is building comps. That should not happen, ever, period.
Even 5 randos vs a 3 man premade and 2 randos can be extremely lopsided just because of the 3 man picking 3 heroes that play extremely well together. For example, Cho’Gall and Ana. Unless you just so happen to get specific heroes that can counter play against Cho’Gall, then you’re pretty much just outta luck. They dominate whichever lane they are in and take every objective easily.
I guess this is just a result of Blizzard trying to make the que times not horrible though. They rather put you in que for 6 minutes only to be met with a premade that steamrolls you than to wait 20 minutes for a match that is actually somewhat balanced. But this is their own fault anyway for botching the game so badly to the point where they are being forced to stick 5 man premades against 5 randos because so many people have stopped playing HotS outright.

The only reason Blizzard does not comment on matchmaking by now is it can not.
Questionable ethics under the processing of matchmaking and i’m not thinking 50% forced loss. I’m thinking undesirable players being pushed out or that Activision patent trying to push sales.
so far none of blizzard staff come out to talk about this so you can assume it is normal and working as intended. If it is not, like example of garden of terror, they will auto “fix it”/rework even without our request so 1 side of games is very common in HOTS. When you play more, you can see more like this: 1 side 3dps 1 heal 1 tank while another side 3 specialist 1 heal 1 tank. With that it can easily train you to fight better even the situation unfavorable to your side.
the draft does not matter, its the matchmaking by player, when you are good you get teamkiller in team every time. you must play bad so the system carry you
had 18 games, 3 of them were victories. Something is off this week.
5 man teams get a penalty from matchmaking, which means they get matched against higher lvl players. It is already confirmed that in a 5 randoms vs 5 premades game the 5 premades dont win more often than the 5 randoms.

7 loses in a raw, then 12 wins in a raw now 12 loses in a raw. the games are not even close, its totaly unbalanced ! blizzards new matchmaking system with the MVP is so buggy, we cant enjoy the game anymore

This is soo true. BUT.For qm it does not matter that much since you can make great comp.
When i play UR and its vs 5 man and we got 2 2man we win most of these. My friend even comments on it that they play worse. Soo much worse its kinda obvious.
But for qm where you get mostly 5 random chars that dont mesh at all its infuriating.
Like enemy staking 5 sustain heroes,or picking insane comps like aba + mura(this is more op then you think), auriel chogall and the like.
edit: as for these win and lose streaks. Ho boy,you guys never played a looter like Warframe. When you play games like those that are ruled by rngesus you figure these streaks are nothing more but exceptions from the normal.
