on an alternative perspective please patch this so he gets actual buffs
I saw Fan did this on his Samuro game. He used his clone and hs back and instant teleport back into his lane where his clone were with full hp.
They removed and readded it iirc, both times on purpose soā¦
Remove it again then readd it and remove it again probably.
I have peaked in guides.
Samuro has SO many bugs that the devs want to call features that he can never ever ever ever be buffed, and if you want to play him properly you just need to learn these bugs. Itās just sad.
Actually no, they never removed the trick showed in this thread.
What they removed was the other one, after you get IM. You could heart with an image, swap to that image, then swap back to the lane. They removed swapping to an image that was in the hall of storms, but they changed that. It was a different trick and it was actually one of the few tricks that werenāt a bug.
In the case of the trick in this thread, you heart with real Samuro, not an image. Hereās the thing, whenever Samuro bases, all images are destroyed. But, because of how the game is coded, you can actually queue a command to swap to an image, so Samuro backs and swaps before the game registers the clone disappearing.
I knew this trick but it didnāt make me OTP OP Samuro GM#1 player.
So sad
I wouldnāt mind if they fix this bug. Itās a bit of a dunce talent allowing laning Samuros to take as much damage as they want in the early parts of the game cuz they canāt easily get full heal and not lose much laning time.
I will note that it gets weaker as time goes on as it heals a flat 1125 hp, which is a lot at the very first levels, being something like 70-80% of his health, but becoming weaker and weaker the later the game gets.
What are all these other so called bugs?
The only one I can think of is his taunt bug, which is not really something you can exploit conventionally.
(If you taunt with real samuro, you can still swap to an illusion, which will continue the taunting but frees up movement and your illusion does a taunt in your place)
Instamount bug was fixed, iirc, so he canāt do that anymore at least.
This is somewhat tolerable since the trick wonāt heal you as much in the late game as it does early on. You have to stay longer in the spawn zone to be topped off because the regen ticks are of fixed amount.
There was a 2h video back in the day teaching many and many bugs, with Goku, Munky and someone else, but I think it got deleted or something, I canāt find it.
I donāt really remember all of them cause Iām not a Samuro player. The ones I remember is this heart one, there is another one where you can queue attack movement and can kinda control images without illusion master (can send them in a direction/to another lane). There were other that were actually useful for the game itself and could bring an advantage to the Samuro player, but I just canāt remember (itās been like 3 years since I saw the video).
I remember this one. There were others that wouldnāt really impact the game that much or at all, but the ones that do should be fixed.
I think itās as simple as giving Samuro an attack-move command and using Q (illusions) and his illusions will do said attack-move. Itās nowhere near the same as having illusion master at all.
At best it can be used in conjunction with the hearth-trick so you can send them in a direction where they wont walk into enemies and get killed before the hearth goes off.
I donāt think these bugs can be considered so serious that he can ānever ever ever be buffedā due to the bugs, as heās plenty strong even without any other superior bugs Iām unaware of or that these bugs are required to be a decent Samuro.
Yes, itās something like that. Like I said, itās just ākindaā having IM. You shouldnāt really be able to send clones from mid to top lane without IM. You can finish soaking/getting a camp/doing whatever and swap to another lane or send the clones to where you wan. In my opinion this is very powerful.
Idk, like I said, I feel like some of those are really powerful. Sending clones to where you want before IM, having basically infinite sustain without having to go back to the hall and walk all the way back. I always see decent Samuros abusing these and more bugs left and right to get a big advantage, and Iām sure the devs consider them when they touch him. You can play him well without using those, but when you start doing those bugs you see how powerful Sam can be.
I think you are overestimating how useful this is. Illusions only last 6 seconds now (unless illusion master?) unless Samuro or the illusion themselves are AAāing enemy heroes.
You really need to calculate exactly how long you need to finish up what you were doing and they canāt travel all that far, especially since they arenāt mounted.
Again, what other bugs? If you always see decent Samuro abusing these bugs, shouldnāt you remember what they were if you consider these bugs to be something that gives Samuros a clear advantage and if you consider it abusing?
Itās a little odd to go āSamuro is so strong cuz of all these bugs people exploit I canāt rememberā
Yeah, I should remember indeed, but it just doesnāt come to my mind right now. When I see it again Iāll answer here. But like I said, there was a video with a HGC player (goku) and 2 famous Samuro one tricks (munky and another one I canāt remember the name) talking and explaining how to do the bugs for like 2h straight. Iād post it here but canāt find it, probably got deleted or something.
Wanna learn how to play Samuro? go read anything Blackstorm has written on Reddit or on his Windstriders discord. He taught me this trick 5 years ago (after being my enemy on the NA server for many years) and this is already stone age primitive to me regarding Samuro knowledge.
This is the latest Samuro technique i know of:

ok
You think you are better than me but i have been the rank one player on many characters many times, you have never been on any leaderboard, not even rank 200 as far as i remember.
nah, iām not gonna bite this time, let the forum have this one, gotta play risk of rain 2
