Valeera is just a one trick pony unfortunately that once revealed loses her primary function of shutting down a hero to then poke them to death.
Her energy talents are useless once anyone gets a hang with her and after gaining some additional talents. It also does not help that Blade Furry does not fit in her kit real well. Fatal Finesse is a bit of a trap talent to as it appears too late game to get the damage up at an acceptable speed to justify taking it. Speaking of which, a lot of her talents are just…why.
Then there are the AA talents…which do not fit at all on a hero that relies heavily on skills as much as she does. Especially as Sinister Strike is as spammable as it is.
That said, especially against bots, taking those Sinister Strike talents turns her into a corpse factory.
I’ve been noticing an increase of games on the NA server, both QM and Ranked, where I’m matched as a full team of solo players vs 5 stacks. It’s probably just another symptom of no content updates.
I wish I play better at this game and don’t have people complaining about their teammates while wining ! Ahhhhh !!! So I did a bunch of SL games yesterday and this an SL game on Braxis. Diablo and Stukov start complaining about Jaina tanking, then missing a q spell. Then it was the turn of Varian : they complain he wasn’t with us while pushing with the objective and being last damage. Guys he was doing his job, laning, taking the experience and destroying the second keep. Mind you, they start complaining when they die… Yeah always the fault of the others, not yours. By the way, and extremely curiously, I (Fenix) didn’t do much more that the Jaina nor the Varian, but nope, no complain about me.
Mind you, this is a Bronze 1 SL game, like yeah sure nobody ain’t doing any mistake at this rank (or at any rank for what matters). Sure, sure, be perfect in your world!
Towers of Doom map is the worst piece of trash i have ever played. The map is awful, how its designed is awful, everything about it is pure trash. The devs who made it are bad, the people who enjoy the map are worse than the devs who made it, and it makes me think they are all felons who wish to cause harm to innocent people wanting to just casually have fun.
The worst offenders are people who push for full map control because thats all they can do because they are trash at pvp / team fights. Skull mines should of never been removed, and towers of doom should of never existed.
I love Towers of Doom. It’s one of the most well designed maps and the objective makes it possible to always come back from a stomp at any point in the game.
I wish it lasted longer though. It feels like it just ends so quickly because of how fast the altars come up, and the core health is low enough where even splitting altars doesn’t delay the game much.
I do agree with you that Haunted Mines should never have been removed. That is such a fun map.
To the Nova who wouldn’t turn in the one gem we needed for the objective on Tomb of the Spider Queen, at 32 minutes! Despite the team begging you to turn, you just had to try another failed attempt to gank Azmodan, and by doing so, you allowed the enemy to turn in.
We lost, I had all sorts of words I wanted to say to you, but naturally, I wouldn’t. As it’s Hots, I didn’t have to, the salty Sylvanas went on a textural tear and ripped you a new one.
That would be best for the game. But as you said most stacks would just quit if it takes too long to find a match. They want a game within same timeframe as everyone els.
Only 5 stacks that are toxic tho are those that only play 5 stacks in QM with cordinated team and 5 players with way too high mmr compared to the other team. They only play QM to abuse thier high mmr and never touch ranked cause they dont want the other team to be able to counter draft them.
They want all the advantage a high mmr stack can get to abuse. And thier behavior towards random teams are toxic aswell. Mass taunting/mass spray spam on those they kill and will stall game so they can groupe up on your start area and taunt some more.
Thats the only thing they can. If they were forced to play against other stacks with same mmr you would see them crying on Reddit that they now cant get thier free wins anymore.
If it were up to me, I’d completely remove aba Hat from the game. Hat, talents for hat, etc. Replaced with something that does NOT work on other heroes. And it would be done in such a dramatic way too, to rub it in the face of every single otp melee hat abuser and aba main.
Absolutely dominating the first 10 minutes of a game. We lose 1 fight and the enemy catches up because comeback mechanics. No big deal.
The team just melts down. They keep making the same mistakes that cost us that 1 fight: Healer decides to facetank and gets killed multiple times, tank determines that ‘tank’ means ‘dive 1v5 and attempt to take as much damage as possible in as little time as possible’. We almost brought it back but we kept playing so poorly that the enemy (who legitimately wasn’t playing very well) eventually beat us.
I almost feel like if we’re too far ahead I should just immediately int under towers so that people don’t get cocky.
any match you get into where your team f’ing melts / can’t do jack s*** and you’re just at a slow downhill with no hope of winning, no hope of fun, and the feeling of taking a knife to your own skin seems to feel better than dealing with the match.
Very cool game. Three out of the five players on the other team spammed voice lines the entire game, then stopped fighting when they reached our core so they could keep spamming.
