Exactly, because if someone has low kda, but high winrate it could mean he is very aggressive, but also he dies often to the right time so his team gets advantage of his deaths. I asked Frog about his seasonal KDA, because it’s natural that sometimes someone has bad kda, because he is new with a certain hero, but if he has (after 2000) games still bad kda in a season and bad winrate then he is just bad with his hero and hardly improve.
It sounds like you did, I never meet the EU players, though I have played with and agasint many forum members on the US server.
Phaseshifter made the observation that perhaps many players who have thousands of games on a hero, but a terrible winrate just “feel” they are good with the hero and haven’t even checked their own stats. It made more sense to me as I can’t understand what fun someone gets after playing thousands of games on a hero but win only 39% of your games.

Maybe that’s it. I mean my winrate on Genji is 40% (lifetime, around 200 games), but with a KDA of 5. This hero is still fun, but somehow it doesn’t works out for me…
The player had about 52% winrate on Naz overall. But really. He was only pushing lanes 90% of the time together with the camps I in between took for him as Butcher.
But he still managed to die 8 times cause map vision does not exist in his dictionary. Overexstending in an empty lane and then gets ganked 4vs1. Not a single time he helped us with Immortal race cause dying 3 times to get that fort down was more important then helping his team. So he forced all melee heroes on his team to engage a team who had multiple range wih stuns and slows and Ana with dart ready.
All in all he did nothing but spam GG spray and think he did great with his useless feeding while his team suffered from los after los on object.
I dont really care if the player plays aggressive and dies a lot but still has a positiv winrate cause that just proves he had 1100+ games where his team was good enough to carry his trash feeding to a win.
People forget a trash feeder can still win if his team is able to carry his uselessness

To random duo of Zarya and Butcher in ARAM: Your Zarya is very good, but the Butcher was both terrible pick and terrible execution.
He was the only one with any tank [Tyrael] available, but instead the guy decided to go main tank Butcher to feed, feed, feed…
He ended up with 16k hero damage in the end of the match o__O.
Fortunately I had Ming available and I think I’m quite decent Ming. My pal picked Lunara, and he has very good Lunara couch [hehehe :p]. With a little bit of shielding from Zarya, we managed to carry the Butcher to win.
Yes, it happened to me to pick Butcher and be the terrible, terrible Butcher. Sometimes the other picks are just weak, or I dunno how to play them or just straightforward dislike them. In such situations I show respect, admit that I need carry and I show my gratitude to great teammates who did the hard work and carried me to win. Still I try to do my best.
But when I asked this particular Butcher why he has only 16k hero dmg, both he and his Zarya pal started to flame me, call me retarded etc. for completely no reason. The irony is the fact, that MVP screen with my Ming appeared afterwards :P.
So yeah, it’s ARAM. Sometimes we all just get crap picks. Carry happens. It’s nothing wrong with it, so let’s be mature human beings… And not this o__O.

Ming skipped the first ban, second ban was KT and not Valla. I made a joke: “Imagine banning KT over Valla”, he respond “if you’re higher you can ban”. I take that. How ended this game? Ming merely 30k vs Valla 120k. The sweet irony. Another reason for this loss was that our Varian just took Colossal Smash without talking to his team and ignoring the fact that I had Zeratul. Result?: Hard stomped, because my team feeded and failed.
Nice funfact to add Ming had only 3.0 KDA… no skill, but a big mouths, so common.
He saw Diablo main tank he went Smash. Just like most of them do. Ban phase could have been avoided if team gave advice who to ban if Li-Ming was this insecure of who to ban but who use draft chat these days lol.

I am not sure, if Ming was that insecure, if she reacted to my comment like this. I think she was just afk and used her second ban for KT, because you know bad players hates KT more than anything else.

Finally I could get Valla, but my team drafted very niche and even though I didn’t like it, I thought it could be possible, because everyone has decent winrate with their hero. But to my surprise the Abathur was absolutely awful. He picked mine talent at 1, but he only sitted in base and it is become more confusing as this guy was Lv 71 on Abathur and a positive winrate, but he only sat in base, did nothing meaningful.

This is why it’s honestly better not to say anything that isn’t essential in chat. It reads as a joke to me, but I can see how it could read as sarcasm to someone who is tilted. That Ming player was correct about one thing, they were the highest MMR on your team, but as we know that can often mean nothing. From their reaction they sounded on a tilt.
It’s difficult, because even if you had simply said “please ban Valla”, that can set off such a person. This is why I have less patience to play ranked now and suffer the QM Nova players who tend to ruin my QM games more than another other hero.

This is so sad and that’s why I despite the reportsystem, because most people aren’t qualified to judge what is right or wrong… But communication in this game is key and I always try to joke around bad decisions to create a light environment, especially because it helps to vent againt my anger, when people are stubborn.
On the hand I wouldn’t mind QM Novas, because I play QM for relaxing and don’t tryhard for the win, but I still give my best. That’s why I have less expectations on my team and it feels a lot less tilting. Maybe that’s why QM is overall the better and popular mode? People are more chilled and they also can pick whatever they want.

Kinda funny that you’re german and use sarcasm. Ive noticed eu servers tend to be alot pricklier and assumed its bc europeans tend to be prouder than us americans who insult eachother consistently for lolz. I also use sarcasm but its created less na problems than eu.
And when you are the banner and ask who to ban you get no answer cause everyone are alt tapped away and more focused what happens on TicTok or Instagram.

Darn, now that is a scary thought! 
You also get people who are afraid of the report system so they don’t type in chat. I have a couple of friends like that. To be honest, they aren’t toxic, but they do get overeager in chat which annoys some people and I think it encourages reports, they are probably best to remain silent.

Maybe it’s because I am half-german and half-russian. Both nations have a lot in common, but when it comes down to game communities everyone hates russian for their language.
I never alt-tab and I would highly appreciate, if people communicate about the game and ask who to ban and such. Ironically, if I get open minded players like that we’re winning 80% of the time.
Yes, but that’s only natural, if you’re living in Germany since your childhood, because we have to escape from Soviet Union after it brokes in parts around 1992.

SL. I am on a team with 4 premates, two of them almost down one whole league against full enemys who are on the same rank as me… They failed as expected, but how could this system think this match will be balance? Should I carry players, who are down below one league and have no idea about draft/heroes?
If the Varian knows that he is better than the enemys it’s not bad to play aggressive, I do it everytime, even though I know that Varian before 4 is like a half hero.
To all Varians… STOP EFFING GOING HARD OUT BEFORE LEVEL 4…
