I don’t know if I am having information withdrawl or I was too busy not noticing…
I was in ARAM and playing jaina, other team had junkrat, couple of times I was in his trap and rooted. Usually this wasn’t a problem because since Jaina has long CD’s, there were usually on CD anyways for me to notice.
Late game, saving my combo’s, I was rooted again by the trap and I tried to combo but all my abilities were disabled? I thought rooting only makes you stuck at that place not disable your abilities too? I understand some movement abilities are disabled when rooted but I swear I could use Jaina’s abilities when rooted…
Am I missing something?

I wouldn’t consider this talent useful anywhere else than in ARAM. When you can avoid the traps better or when you can draft heroes with unstoppable. Particularly since the talent has to compete with Bogged down, which is the better talent on this tier

I use this on dragon shire map with multi traps it’s far hilarious throwing grenades and having 2 traps chase inside that tiny circle while throwing a tire bomb lol
Junkrat is all about creating as much mayhem as possible. Trap build is in my opinion the best way to achieve this.
