The reporting system sucks. I reported a guy, but I still ended up stuck with him on my team for 4 games in a row. He would just ruin the match by dying on purpose. I have uninstalled the game. I know you guys don’t support it anymore, but for duck sake.

I don’t think they have anyone live waiting for reports to roll in and handle it on the spot. I believe punishment is done on an algorithm based off frequency of reports with certain categories giving higher priority than others.
Best advice is that if you come across someone like that, finish your game and wait 2 minutes before requeuing.

There are no “devs” left for you to dox. Not for 4+ years. In fact, none of the people who developed HotS even work at Blizzard anymore.
They created their own game studio (Dreamhaven) in 2020 which is run by Mike Morhaime (who created Blizzard).

if you happen to get a good RND team and you win easily, the game does not motivate players to create a party and then put them back in your team. BUT as soon as the patented Activision-Blizzard technology 50% winrate requires you to lose, the AFK player is suddenly in your party… Report it and even though it is trivially easy to verify that the AFK player who has 10% of the XP of other players or even has 0 dmg, in the next game the “perfect” matchmaking will put him in your party 4 times in a row
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated event, but a very common systematic failure of this game!!!
Why are you forcing us to play with players we DON’T WANT to play with???
I mean, do you guys expect the people you report to just get instabanned and locked out of your games?
If the reporting system worked like that then there wouldn’t be any players left in the game.
Also if reporting players locked them out of your side of the team/games, you could simply just report any players that weren’t smurfing or weren’t playing the way you liked, or that you felt were bad.
Hence always end up with the best possible team for your self and your playstyle, which sounds like a good idea but is a horrible horrible idea.
It would abuse the report system, not actually take out players that needs to get properly banned and make a really bad ranked system overall.
Only report system that does anything is the “Abusive text one” rest of em don’t do a damn thing. You can die 500 times and feed their team or go afk and nothing happens but if you call someone stupid once you get silenced
