It’s a joke game mode but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have at least some balance.

Everyone knows the same roster of heros that are boringly strong on this mode and tend to dominate even harder than QM, and thats saying something considering QM balance is pretty awful itself.

We just charged into 1 target and 1-shot it. Easy stacks after 4 minutes or faster, i don’t remember well, because it was 2 years ago, or more…
There is a main problem that will always happen if blizzard decides to remove heroes like that from brawl: other heroes will become broken OP in brawl because they will have no counters. Then you remove those as well, keep doing that, until everyone can only pick murky?
Sure some heroes are much stronger in brawl, especially in some situations (no tank or no healer), but it is better to just have all the options available.
Cassia is probably fine in Brawl, maybe Zujin too. Chromie, Ming, Deckard, Mei…those are the kinds of heroes that shouldn’t be allowed in brawl because of their massive AoE on a single lane map.
Same reason why Hammer isn’t allowed in Brawl; too much AoE for ARAM.
Despite my hatred for some of the heroes in brawl, they all deserve to be there right now. The best you can do is if you have to play them, play them in a fun way. For instance, whenever I have to be azmo, i always go lazer because orb build is kinda boring to play.
Why can’t people just accept the path and pray to RNGsus?
Balance isn’t for brawl. Balance is for normal competitive play.
All the complaints about Hammer are hilarious, because the main complaint Kael’thas pretty much hard counters her out of ever being useful besides dropping cheeky mines and Napalms. So does KTZ. So does Jaina. Li-Ming can do pretty good work. Sure, I’ll easily grant she’s awful when she doesn’t have a counter, but like… so is anyone. Having a low poke comp sucks. Having a low sustain comp into high sustained damage sucks. Having no tank sucks.
Random selection is a really bad thing to try and force balance on.
It would be cool if both sides had the same pool (so both player 1s on both teams get one set, and so on). That does well to ensure a certain kind of parity.
But that’s about it. And all that’ll probably mean is high pickrate picks being high, but then that just means a ton more mirror matches.
I think, coming from some 3000 ARAMs in League, and a modest handful of brawls, that a sluffed hand is just kind of part of the draw.
possibly that Tank heroes which feature in the Brawl has still random heroes. when reached level 340 I still have opened loot chests for last time in the summer event. I has been confirmed that beginning of Fall season event remained summer loot chests has opened alongside first Fall season event Chests. Brawl hasn’t returned until beginning of next weekly.
I don’t understand why people like ARAM to begin with.
The games are equally as long as regular QM matches with just much less things happening since the map is a third the size.
If they’d ever want to lure me in playing another ARAM game they’d have to reduce all building health by half or some significant amount, or add things to do. It gets really boring.
Adding themes would be funny too like all 10 heroes playing the same hero could be cute for 1 or 2 games.
What’s to discuss? You want to remove more heroes from Brawl. As others have pointed out, this will expose ridiculousness in other heroes, who were held in check by the heroes removed.
At the end of the day, you cannot accept Brawl for what it is, and are unable to deal with your own frustration. This is true of most players and QM as well. I do not need to add anything to a “you” problem.
