Remove Cheap abilities of your Game

Any ability that stun or removes the control of your character needs to be deleted by this game. This kind of abilities only promotes the “Non-Skill” and “Toxic” playstyle.

I dont want this game suffer the same FATE as PARAGON so please base the gamepay of HoTs in “PURE-SKILLS” and “GAME-SENSE”.

You’re asking a Moba To remove all forms of CC?

Do you also think it’s a good idea to invade Russia in the winter?

Your asking to remove something that has been in the game forever and has never caused a problem before.

k see you the next year in LoL when HoTS suffer the same fate as paragon. CC and Any other cheap ability needs to be DELETED by this game and like i said base ur entire gameplay on MECHANICALS + GAMESENSE.

Even more when the enemy team use 3 or 4 “CC” heros cuz they lack of the “MECHANICALS” to kill players so they need use cheap boring tactics

A) Im TOTALLY fine for certain heros have “MITIGATION-TOOLS”
B) im TOTALLY Fine for certain heros have “MOBILITY-TOOLS”

but yeah basing your entire gameplay on “CC” is INSANE boring to play and even MORE BORING to watch…

OP is right.

Remove all point and click abilities. Game should be100% skill based. Not Fee insta kills with Pyroblaste, Web, etc…

CC allows for tactical depth, execution of skill, and exercise of game knowledge. It’s way more important in a video game PvP environment than you’re obviously capable of understanding. What you’re asking for actually removes a layer of skill from the game and makes it easier for bads. It’s generally a direct counter to mobility tools that otherwise allow heroes to skirt safely around in high risk situations. Aside from that it’s a set up tool for engages, an escape tool for many heroes that otherwise don’t have one, and several other niche applicable uses.

That said there is often a fine balance between effective implementation of CC and excessive loss of a targets ability to respond and actually play the game. HotS skirted this line once but has never gone over it. There are tools to avoid CC chains in a properly balanced and drafted team comp. Aside from that it comes from awareness, knowledge of the enemies capacity to lock you down, and knowing what you can safely do without sticking your neck out to far and getting caught for it.

You simply have it backwards. The victim of the CC chain is usually the unskilled one, either through terrible draft, or lack of awareness for the context of the game he’s in. The execution of a CC chain is a sign of teamwork, timing, and skill.

Ther OTHER solution can be as well. Limiting the amount of “CC” heros can be per team to 1. Most of the premades abuse of this using 3 even 4 “CC” heros to play INSANE cheap.

So limiting to 1 the amount this kind of heros can help to the experiencie. Is not EVEN fun when they perma lock you “CC” and you can’t do anything with “Skills” or “gamesense”

The time to apply your “gamesense” was before you were hit with a chain of CC. The fact that you must have constantly been just so locked down not only shows a lack of it, but also an inability to adapt to what’s happening in your game. More context for what you’re experiencing would probably be necessary. Some composition match ups are just going to wombo combo you mercilessly if you allow them through without countering any bit of it, and if it’s a quick match problem… that’s seriously a tertiary balance concern.

For example, if I’m playing a character like Jaina, and the enemy team has a Zeratul, it doesn’t matter how strongly I believe I’m winning over my lane opponent. Unless I know he’s somewhere else, and I mean K-N-O-W as in I can see him on the mini map or he’s dead, I won’t put myself further out in the lane than I can withdraw from. That’s game knowledge, and the sense to apply it.

Too bad? These abilites have been around since WC3 / TFT Defense of the ancients maps. THATS WHAT CREATED THIS GENRE!

Pyroblast is instant? Man, i must be playing an old version of the game :wink:

targeted abilities make sense when they make sense.

And game design?
Imagine Valeera designed without the ability to cast her stealth abilities except as skill shots?
Diablo’s charge?
Uther’s hammer?
Xul’s bone prison?

“skill shot, the game” would not be fun. It would not be played.

Dibbles charge should just be a soft nonsexual cuddle.

It should grant movement speed to his enemies.

Provide invulnerable to the enemy and increase health and mana regen.

Point and click cc in this game are very few. Most time you eat cc is because you failed to evade them.
Remove your inability to juke so thay you may display some skills on day thanks.

Another thing to keep in mind is this:

In Overwatch at least you can SWAP to counter if the enemy team is using a CANCEROUS team-comp. In this game you CAN’T swap so if the enemy team used 4 CC heros and they are on a premade.

"You will get STOMPED not matter the amount of skills or hours you have with your character is a instant lose". Sometimes i even told my friends “Lets leave the match” look their team-comp they have 3 CC and 2 pullers to save us 20 mins of CANCER

So yeah at least limit the amount of CC characters per team to 1

Well if you draft properly against the team you are playing against that won’t be a problem since they also can’t switch to counters picked against their heroes, you even have 3 possible bans to use against them.
