Like illidan or like Kael thas? or like…
Just like every company out there. Your point?
How can a company betray me? Not giving me exclusive rights just because I spent money on their games? Banning me because I broke the CoC and ToS? Making costs higher? Seriously, what can they do to qualify as betrayel?
No wonder why they like Kerrigan soo much.
Perfect.
its simple.
I pay money.
you ban me for a BS reason.
I no longer like you your company and no longer pay.
30 years of gaming, and I need to feel like a criminal?
bye blizz.
How can they betray you when they never treat you as friend? The feelings are never mutual here.
Also, one should not get emotional attachment to any game company or any business company. Just look at D3 board there. This is what happened when they got attached to something that they don’t even understand.
Aizen said it the best; admiration is the emotion furthest from understanding.
If you’re happy with what theyve done to hots as a game, you are blind!
Down with the system, down with actiblizz!
They’ve been marketing us as the “Blizzard Community” for years. If they’re not treating us as a friend, then are you implying they’re manipulating us to think they’re family so we can give them money all the time?
I mean, a lot of us don’t mind giving money to family because they’re family. Or did they mean friends, as in close to family? Close friends generally also don’t mind giving money because they’re like family.
Remember, at the end of this year’s BlizzCon opening ceremony video, you see the big bold “WELCOME HOME” text? Mike Morhaime’s own words following that very video (video sources below time-readied for your viewing convenience):
“I think, like many of you, BlizzCon will always be like home to me. And it always feels good to be home.”
“Whether you’re a BlizzCon veteran or are joining us for the very first time, you are among friends. Welcome.”
While they may not have betrayed us because corporations couldn’t care less what their audience thinks, in terms of the direction their products are going, the proof is there that they’ve gone the typical befriending route to help improve sales.
They will always find new ways to pull out a rug from under your feet.
Oh noes a gaming company likes to earn money. The betrayal is real man
A once glorious gaming company.
I miss Blizzard North.
Just because you lose your matches doesn’t mean Blizzard isn’t your friend.
What did they do to the game, man? Making almost all cosmetics free? Reworking bad Heroes/talent-trees? Adding a Nexus Hero? New maps? Other new Heroes? Ranked and QM changes based on community feedback? Making Stimpacks more casual player friendly?
What horrible acts they did to this game in your opinion?
I rather trust blizzard than a scaming goblin
A great gaming company likes to make great games. The money flows in from being successful at that.
If you think a gaming company should operate under the guidance of “does it make us a buck”, then you are part of the problem.
Get some self respect man.
A great gaming company makes great games FOR money. That’s their number 1 objective, always has been. Blizzards goal is to make money, so in turn they make great games.
Are there passionate developers? Of course. But on the whole Blizzard wants to make money, and there isnt anything wrong with that.
You can be passionate about a game even though your main priority is to make money
