Let a “red flag” be defined as follows: something a teammate writes in chat (in draft or in game) that clearly indicates that this player lacks game knowledge, suffers from a superiority complex, and/or is likely to be toxic.

3.How did you guys lose I was distracting them! [typically said by a solo tank when they dive the enemy backline only to get kited and killed in seconds, leaving his team exposed to enemy Dehaka, Thrall, Sonya and such]

When you’re soaking as a solo-laner, and your team loses a pointless random 4v4:

I have more problems with people who just don’t talk in chat at all and go off and do their own thing.

One of the games I played yesterday my team had a Hammer on it who sat mid, forcing me (Zul’jin) and Artanis to solo bot and top. When asked to go bot or top (by myself and 2 other teammates), all we got was ignored. Total radio silence, just continued sitting mid and getting ganked.
The game ended in 14 minutes with Hammer having 7 deaths and 1 assist, 40k hero damage, and less than 40k siege damage.

Honestly, I don’t care if you have chat turned off. If you are not being useful nor responding to your teammates in a team game, I will report you in an instant. Refusing to cooperate is refusing to participate.

There are legitimate reasons for this in some cases.

Zul’jin should really only ever be solo-laning if his opponent is a Tank he can farm stacks off of or if the rest of his team are all significantly worse solo-laners. Otherwise he should be either with the team or ganking.

Convection KT should always be with the teamfight, as should KTZ and Li Ming. Butcher should very rarely be solo-laning, you almost always want at least one other person with him.

“why are you soaking and not coming to obj” - Butcher with 80 meat and 7 deaths 15 mins in down 4 levels.

I’ve had someone say GG while winning by every conceivable metric (level, buildings, tributes, and kills) then proceed to feed the rest of the match.

In ai matches i randomly clicked at the gl hf icon and sometimes it was gg. I’m pretty sure not only once happened until it was mentioned by teammate. After that i rarely say something like gl hf. Except when i play with someone. If i play with murky, then i say only hf…

I always mock them. It’s never constructive, but I’m not gonna let a person like that think I’m not absolutely laughing at them constantly.
