I’ve been playing this game since it came out and have yet to see balanced matchmaking. Just wondering if they gave up or if we’ll ever see it happen.

There are two outcomes. 1. Bad matchmaking where it’s always one team getting rolled by the other. 2. Good matchmaking where the game is pretty fair throughout.
If you don’t understand that, you’re not a great critic of posts.

In my experience with other ranked games…
Even if the matchup is a mirror matchup.
Let’s say you are a 5 stack literally playing against yourself.
You might have a bad game while your identical self has a better game.
So even though you were matched up against a person of literal identical skill, there’s never a way to match make based on how someone will perform in that specific game.
It’s all based on averages.
So if your team all happen to have a not so great game, while the enemy team of similar skill has a great game…
You’ll get rolled
And it will seem unfair
When the reality is you could have all just played better
It won’t happen, not when game is as deprioritized as this one. It’s been discussed many times but you need proper people to implement things properly and it just won’t be on a hots radar at any point. Now that population is dwindling it just goes to a complete disaster.

If you’ve been playing since it came out and you’ve yet to see any balanced matchmaking, then it’s probably time to quit, because you’re obviously cursed or something.

Not true! I had my head in the sand the entire life of HOTS and I have never seen a balanced Match formed from MM!
