Compare him to valla (who USED to be considered one of the best heroes in the game before power creep). He’s insanely safe, deals even more damage, and has no real weakness. He melts anything he attacks without fail and he has one of the strongest talent trees in the game. Please nerf him. I honestly miss when he was a noob hero, at least then he wasn’t oppressively strong AND easy. Raynor really needs to be hit with nerfs across the board. He’s too good at almost everything.

They won’t nerf him because the balance team likes it when ranged assassins can facetank melee assassins and win and a majority of their casual playerbase plays him and wants to feel powerful on a horribly designed hero. They have given mid-late game melee assassin damage to their ranged assassins. Seriously just go play DotA 2. Once you get the hang of it, it really is much more fun than this game, there have even been some surprising threads on the HotS reddit about it. It actually has melee assassins in it that can’t be facetanked by ranged assassins. If you do try it keep in mind the level scaling though, some melee assassins start out a little weaker, but scale better at certain points.

Raynor has a strong early-game but he falls off hard as the game continues. He has lots of sustained damage, poke, and a big heal, but all of that is only good in 1v1 skirmishes. He doesn’t have much in the way of burst, making short teamfights hard to contribute to. He has no mobility outside of a minor speed boost and his ability to dodge skillshots is non-existent. If he’s isolated by CC, he falls very quickly.
I personally hate his 6.5 range, I don’t think he needs it, but he’s hardly overperforming.

Raynor is a strong, easy to play and cheap to buy, Hero. But he’s far from overpowered or without counters (blind effects, just to name one). As everyone it may be hard to handle in QM because of random comps, but if you can pick he’s not so oppressive.

With a decent number of Veteran Marksman stacks he does more damage lategame and is more bursty than you might think, especially when combined with Bounty Hunter at 16 and Execute at 20.
If a Jaina can dodge skillshots so can Raynor…seriously I don’t even get that line of thinking.
The biggest problems with him is how he dominates melee assassins and outperforms Valla and Zul’jin simply by having overblown stats. Again a hero as simple as Raynor should not be better than Valla or Zul’jin. They should have designed his builds around his Q or his teamfight ability potentially with W builds, not just giving him overblown basic attack damage on Pepper stacks. He arguably has one of the best raw damage storm talents in Execute as well.

Jimmy has strong damage but he folds easily in any good engage at least you have the satisfaction of seeing him die when you commit into him.

Raynor is way better than other AA heroes like zuljin, valla, lunara etc right now.
He used to be way overtuned and a mandatory ban. Nothing changed about him, just that way more OP heroes like lolganis appeared so people stopped banning raynor. He is still the same overtuned hero he was

Is this trolling, because Raynor might be one of the worst heroes , lol.Only AA hero that is worse then him is Valla.And that’s only because Valla got absurb low health.Buff her health , then she would dominate raynor in every tier.
Also, both Zuljin and Lunara got their own thing going on, and can be -extremely- annoying at right hands.
Raynor is thrash-tier, and will always be.
He isn’t trash tier ever since the rework though, even post rework nerfs he’s still actually good at what he does.
