Raynor, Hyperion and vision

I’m not sure if this is a bug, something I have missed, or a game feature that I didn’t know about, but while Hyperion was active, there was constant vision of me (Raynor). If you look at the replay at 11.50, I’m in fog of war, but always visible. I actually thought Hanzo was using a map hack at this point  Have I missed something here?

Hyperion grants vision in 8 radius by default but if you happened to be near the outer rim of the circle and hidden in a bush, it is possible that it maintains vision of you much longer after shooting you once, which could then result in maintaining permanent vision if it is shooting frequently enough.

As of recently, attacking enemy heroes with spells or auto maintains vision on them for much longer than it used to be the case before, essentially allowing you to sometimes never lose vision of a target. This adjustment to the base game mechanic has been intentionally introduced for almost entire hero roster.

I was the Raynor, so the Hyperion definitely wasn’t shooting me. I’m not sure how far it was numerically, but the vision on me persisted more than half a screen away. Well outside the vision ring.
Thanks for the answer, much appreciated!

Oh sorry I didn’t get the full picture. If you were the Raynor, there’s some property differences between Banshee and Hyperion and because Hyperion is tagged with Spell Damage and not as Active summon, its damage may be attributed directly to Raynor and as such whenever it hits a hero, your character gets revealed to the enemy as well.

Scroll down to the area with ability boxes. Some properties might help you understand mechanics better but other time they aren’t fully made clear. You should probably take another jab at in in the Try Mode and check for consistency.
