Raven lord specific name and others

I really prefered when Raven Lord and those other lords in Nexus didn’t have specific names just their titles but they got revealed on Blizzcon… It had nice storylike and mysterious feel but well now it’s kinda ruined for me

Oberon. King of the fairies.

Why wouldn’t they have real names?

They are an illusion.

I mean Queej Nightshade, Lady of Thorns, Ra, Raven Lord, Grave Keeper, and. Nethlihis were names given way before each map haf basic lore

An illusion!
What are you hiding?

Pretty sure it was “Lady Nightshade,” and I know for a fact that it was “Ka,” not “Ra.”

No, it’s Queen Nightsade, but you are right with Ka (the Serpent God after Maugli’s friend, lol).
But that’s still a title. I think the problem is Oberon (Raven Lord) and Raena (Lady of Thorns).
They got real names which is = not being mystical to @Op.

Since you are not “born” as a Realmlord but ascend to that status by getting power and claming a Singularity (like the Gravekeeper is trying to do), they have names because they were “nobody” untill they conquered their actual position as masters of different Realms.

Considering that Orphea is the Raven Lord’s daughter, she probably would have raised to his seat one day if she wouldn’t side against him. Or she will if he will ever reach a downfall like what happened to Raena, the Lady of Thorns.

HoH usually only does troll-posts, but this is kinda right, isn’t it?

Makes me wonder if Orphea’s mother was called “Titania” (or was that Oberon’s wife only in SAO? :stuck_out_tongue:)

depends on where you look. in classic literature Titania is a name given to the queen of the fairies. in folklore there are various other names.

This is old news, you already had their names if you used the subtitles option for map announcers.

Only for Ka and Nenthis (maybe you could count Blackheart), but not for Raven Lord, Lady of Thorns, or Queen Nightshade (she got a first name now)

I liked more the idea of the “Lords of the Nexus” to be something more…like out of human understanding, like those of Lovecraftian horror… I imagined the Raven Lord like this ethereal force shaped as the raven depicted in the map artwork, and him as the other lords would simply pulll outstanding beings from other realm to be their peons in their endless game of battles…

But then they made him an old man…
