What the hell is going on with ranked play? Two weeks ago I proposed ranked to one of my friends, and he didn’t want to do placements then, cause it said there was only a week left. Assuming that the new season has started, we (3 players) decide to do placements together, me with a new account. But it turns out the player, who had played ranked last season still had the same stats, only now the season says there’s three weeks left. What on Earth? Has this game been completely discarded? Middle of November and we’re still on summer event…
The game isn’t really maintained much anymore and the seasons keep routinely being extended.
Not a bug, it’s just the state of the game currently. There is no staff left to care about these things.
The game has been branded a Classic two years ago, meaning it gets minimal resources like other classics (such as Starcraft II). There is just a small Classic team that maintains all the Classic games.
Developers on that subreddit did promise a new patch is coming though, but nobody knows when, they only said “soon”.
The team has run into issues, and they extended the season because it will take longer for the next patch to be released.
Originally, it kept being extended by a week because they kept thinking they could fix it within a week.
