The general chat has 2-3 guys (or maybe 1?) constantly creating smurf accounts that consist of racist names and endlessly fill the chat with racist comments all day, every single day at all hours of the day. This has been going on for 6+ months now and it’s insane.
Is there any way to require a phone number to login similar to modern warfare?
Of course it is possible – I have long advocated tying a Heroes account to a credit card number or something as a way of enforcing perma-bans more strictly – but it won’t happen now. But don’t worry: hate speech doesn’t exist: these are just the competitive, freedom-loving folks who are doing it for our own good and the health of the game.

Been like this for years, just remember that while you are doing something productive they are wasting their electricity bill in a niche game spamming a chat with like 10 people in it by average.

I understand gamer rage racism has a debate of being what it’s name lives too, but most of those are taught really openly and more deep rooted than some implies to.

It might be amusing if it wasn’t so misguided. They argue for personal responsibility, but only for those who take offense to offensive and abusive speech, but no responsibility is apparently required for those choosing to use said speech.
Report the offenders and then ignore them if you find their comments too upsetting. If enough people do it, eventually they will stop.

Racism is an unavoidable part of humanity and it is present almost everywhere you go
It would even feel a bit unnatural if people suddenly stopped being racist one day

It will never end because people have different ideology on how the world should be like they think the world would be a better place if everyone els that are not like them did not exist.
As long humans cant accept each other and begin to understand we are all the same then racisme will never go away.
Social media is also to blame for how the world is today cause it brainwash people.
The world seemed to have a bigger problem with racism and everything similar e.g. sexism, homophobia etc before social media was a thing, so i’m not sure I agree with that.
It’s still a problem but the conversations are still being had and cultural change is happening and the majority dont accept discrimination like that wheras it used to seem the majority supported discrimination when I was a kid and before.
Some people are warped and and like to think they are superior to another person because of something like race or gender and ironically these people are usually some of the biggest wasters in society
Well back then the issue was that slavery existed and racism was accepted as a normal thing that didn’t offend people
It is natural to be afraid and discriminate against those who are unfamiliar to you

Racism is a very normal thing that exists within ourselves and my religion taught me that we as human beings can only strive to cleanse our hearts from this sickness inside us by accepting our fellow human beings as brothers and sisters and communicating with them in healthy manners but also avoiding communication or any kind of engagement if their intentions are malicious toward ourselves
Religion and fanatical ideology was a huge reason why people were discriminated against
One group of people sought dominance over others
This fact has not changed
But the internet and social media especially have made it easy for people to hide their intentions

With all the abuse happening to workers today especially within the company of the game who made HOTS; you will find it hard to disagree that they are too much more than slaves and servants when you really think about the kind of abuse they go through
