What do you think about seasonal quick match ranked system?! Just choose the role and go in like in aram. I can wait 5=10 minutes for that kind of game. It would be fun and can make game more alive. What do you think guys?

while there’s merit in the simplicity of it, I don’t think it’s very viable in the long run since quickmatch is full of… odd individuals that enjoy making everyone else suffer
there would also the problem that decent healers are far and few in between, this makes people very irritable and thus makes the gameplay suffer as a result.
ashame, I dislike drafts. it adds a level of complexity that I usually cant comprehend IE won’t comprehend

ARAM - no. I wouldn’t want forced, unexpected, unprepared random hero.
You shall all be flex, you shall be a master at all heroes, play 10 hours a day or get out of my ballpark!
QM - well. It is already ranked, always was, you just don’t see it.
You shall take this seriously, you shall not practice a hero or a matchup, you shall be proficient, because it’s ranked, and if losing isn’t bad enough, now YOU cause me to lose ranked points with your silly troll pick! Go and play meta, slave.
I did advocate / support this in the past, but I’m a bit afraid. Maybe with the reduced playerbase, people are a bit more leisurely about it.
QM with multiple picks: rather not. If I queue up as ETC, I don’t want to play as Murky. It’s been my biggest gripe ever about ranked.
You shall tank, servant, or get out of ranked. Only I can play ranged. I first pick Li-Ming and you shall fill, or you shall get reported and the gaming police shall hunt you down alongside your offspring biblically!

The game wouldn’t be hurt by trying something a bit wild, but it makes sense so it isn’t likely.
The last thing I want in QM is more players that take this game way too seriously. If you want to chase an arbitrary rank by biting and clawing your way through droves of miserable tryhards, there is already a mode for that.

Comp and map are random so what would be the point of making it ranked? It would be like a heads or tails tournament. Except each games takes 20 mins.

In a way, it already is ranked. You can track your progress on hots logs.

I think that resembles Overwatch’s method of hero selection, which in my opinion should be fine if you’re okay with mirror matches. I think another type of mode that could work is blind draft, however it also would allow mirror matches. LoL has used blind draft and had success with it, nothing is perfect, but I mean its a moba that’s still going strong. The only issue I have with hots using it is that I like the current QM and I think it would be lazy of the hots developers to copy paste something another company did.
The benefits of the current QM system is the fact you can play whatever hero you want and don’t have to worry about people telling you crap all game because you didn’t pick what they wanted or your hero getting picked/banned. That’s a huge problem in both ranked and aram that causes tilt for no reason. Getting mad over picks is dumb, yet sometimes understandable with certain people hell bent on trolling the team…
