there are a couple of topics of players reporting an “inifinite” queue. The game sometimes matches a player into a condition that other players can’t match, so they end up waitinf until they requeue.
I typically requeue if my wait time gets a bit past the “average” wait to nake sure I’m not in a matchless line, but that also tends to reinforce the flawed projection of the “average” wait 
I tried a few different heroes but eventually gave up waiting. I’ve never had to wait for a Quick Match longer then a minute as recently as a few weeks ago.
Close the game and restart, works for me.
Depends on the region and time of the day. Middle of the day on US, could be bugged, requeue or restart the client.
Out of peak times on South America or ANZ… could just be there are literally less than 10 people queuing, so you’d need to wait half an hour, maybe longer for more people to log in.
