Quick guide for newbies

This is for rank.

  1. Save your ultimate for a team fight, don’t use on camps.

  2. In a team fight, u need to fight. If you have butcher or another melee that attacks, start fighting, don’t watch them or retreat.

  3. Try to focus on the non tanks in battle 1st.

  4. Pick the best in class for rank. For example, Lili is a better healer than Malf. Try to pick an actual tank not a bruiser to tank for you. For example Jo and Diablo are good tanks, while ETC is not.

  5. Only pick ABA or TLV when you want to troll your team because you are mad at them and want them to lose.

  6. Learn to go to obj when they are up, don’t lane the whole game. Don’t get camps when obj is up.

  7. If you are able to be friends with good players on team you will do better than me playing solo.

Abathur isn’t troll pick if you help team every fight and have 100% kill assist = 90% win game…
every beginner can do it

This is the worst advice in the history of all the bad advices on these forums. You must be low gold at most, why on earth you think that you are qualified to give any advice…?

This is the kind of person that reports high skillcap heroes because he/she doesn’t understand them.

My sympathy for the post stopped at this point, though #3 is already very dubious (often tank is a valid attack target when they are the only one your Ranged Assassin can safely reach).

This kind of players also unironically say “Focus Morales”. Not as a meme, but dead serious.
ETC is also a great tank.

WTF. ETC is annoying and is high ban rate in SL (same as joh tbh.) Abby is very strong with a good team. TLV… they are good but i guess only play them in master and GM and 5 stacks cause it needs a real coordinated team to work.
“dont lane the whole game, dont get camps when obj is up” the 1st is kinda right as in you cannot be in 1 lane the entire game BUT you need to soak all the time during the game, while helping your team and doing obj that is, 2) you sometimes have to give up the objective to focus on soaking and getting the camps to getting at the same tier talent (for instance on cursed hollow, if it is the 1st tribute or… maybe 2nd if you are really behind then give it up and soak to catch up)
And yeah, Lili ISNT a better healer than malf, she is just easier to play for new players but thats all. They both are good, and good malfurions are usually better than Lili hero wise.

Please don’t give misinformed advice/bad advice

(2nd Edit) I am not here to crap posting but to inform that your advice were wrong for most if not all of it, but I guess we all appreciate your will to help new players so thanks still.

Who use ult on camps lol. Maybe in wood league they do.

A lot of this is bad advice outside of bronze and silver. Although to be fair it could maybe get you up to gold. Point 2 3 and 4 are the ones I found most objectionable.
