Queueing E after Q as Diablo is now inconsistent

The Diablo Q knockback changes have created scenarios where if Diablo Q’s from certain distances and doesn’t get a stun, it’ll place his Q target slightly outside of his E range, causing a queued up E to no longer immediately flip his target after a Q or try to close the distance to fulfil this E command. It’s worth noting there are ranges where this still works, such as shift queueing both abilities before Diablo enters Q range, but overall this happens a lot at common charge distances.

I understand this could be interpreted as me trying to claim Diablo’s “intended gameplay”, but I think this is integral to consistency with the hero and should be preserved. Here’s a video comparison of the live and PTR versions at roughly the same range, you can see in the skill bar of the PTR clips the E is queued up and it attempts to execute the ability but gives up. This also happens at certain shorter ranges not shown in the video.

Also, I wanted to say thank you for the work you’ve been doing on recent patches! One of the few good things about the game being in maintenance mode is that it allows for the opportunity to unify game mechanics such as knockback and target revealing, which I think is a net positive.
