I hope this is because of some bug or some weird algorithm for matchmaking the devs are testing, rather than due to a drop in the number of players.
I used to wait about 20 minutes for a quickmatch during peak hours. That was fine with me. It now takes about an hour on average, sometimes it can take 2 hours (and that’s during peak hours, there are no games to be found in mornings)

You might not like my answer, but stop playing quick match. I had to force myself to stop playing quick match just to have an experience that isn’t terrible. I’m practically shoehorned into TL right now, but I’d rather have half of my games be amazing than less than a quarter be good. It’s not much better, but I recommend playing unranked instead of quick match.
Ehh, yea I think I’d play more ranked. TL doesn’t exist on my server unfortunately as in no one plays it (or at least, in the few times I’ve tried I’ve never been able to find a game) so yea maybe ranked
