Every single QM game today, every single one, has featured 3 former specialists on the enemy team. All have had Xul. All but 2 have had Abathur. And then add the third. 8 games of this so far today.
That is not random. It is not possible. I think Blizzard is using QM to generate numbers. I think they create obscene match ups just to see what kind of numbers come out of the each joke they have made.
In the recent patch Xul received the most notable changes.
Of course he’s in every QM match, everyone wants to try the changes.

And yes, as the post above states, changes lead to people playing that character a lot. Ab, xul, the two you mention, just changed.

Newsflash: people aren’t “random”
If people want to play newly changed heroes, and those that enable them, then there’s going to be a higher frequency of matches.
However, much like your other topics, you’d rather forgo simpler explanations to find something to blame than think through this stuff yourself. Might wanna hit up the telling signs of superstition and develop more self-awareness on this stuff before you ramble off on my self-induced riling.

lucky ! i have been getting 3 tanks on opposing team . but it still beats the old days of facing 2-3 stealth on opposing team every other QM match
It is definitely not random. The QM algorithm has certain preferences.
Again today, Thursday, April 9 I decided to play Xul. 12 games played, 10 of those games featured an enemy team with 3 or 4 ranged heroes usually with a healer. 10/12. All of the ranged heroes were a mix of Guldan, Raynor, Li MIng, KT, or KTz.
That is not random.
Xul was reworked, so people want to try him
A lot of people wanted to Lvl Abathur while they could pick him.
It depends what you queued as.
QM is always full of ranged heroes. And the enemy only gets a healer if you have one too.
If xul is the flavor of the month, try playing his counters on QM.
Pick up and learn sonya, take the root cleanse and watch him fall. Take cassia, blind him take the on demand blind wheen rooted. Watch him flail not swipe.
Also dont just stand still while he hacks and slash with his sycthe… get away from that
Ranged heroes do not fare badly against xul in general.
It is harder on melees comps.
