hero selectin should be after map selected while teammates select the heroes as well just like it was done in mecha break on QM

Not possible - Other players might want the same heroes, so you’d have to reshuffle the players if there is any conflict.
Not ideal - The intent is to adapt your hero to the map. Adds variety to QM.
You can play Draft where it works the way you request.
I wish we could ban maps. If I never see Blackheart’s Bay again it’ll be too soon.
WC3 has this, it’s such a simple system, it’d probably take 5 minutes to mock up a basic version of a menu to do it. idk about hooking it up to the MM, but, these are problems blizzard solved decadeS ago.
Picking your hero first lets you play whoever you want instead of whoever’s left.
That’s one of the main advantages HotS has other other MOBAs.
