Qhira AA bypasses Varian W

So, I had this game when I’m playing varian, and Qhira AA, even tho I was defending with W, which should be blocked, still applied the bleeding effects. Is this intended?

Her Blood Rage passive applies spell damage which can’t be blocked by Parry.

Parry does block 100% of the AA damage itself but none of the passive. Only Evasion can fully stop Qhira from applying her passive since her AA never hits in the first place. (Or Divine Shield)

Yeah, I understand that. But, it’s as the name says “bleed”. If it’s blocked, there’s nothing to be “bled”. The logic itself isn’t matching, it’s something extra for the AA sure, but if the AA isn’t landed, neither should the passive (in my pov)

Sadly, in the case of Parry, the AA does land - but 100% of the AA damage is prevented. So anything else that is attached to that AA, will deal damage or continue dealing damage if it’s a Damage Over Time.

(Compare Medivh using Force of Will to protect a teammate against Lunara’s AA - The auto attacks will be blocked, but Nature’s Toxin will remain on the target despite the AA itself dealing 0 damage).

Illidan is one such hero who can completely ignore both Qhira’s AA and her Passive - because Evasion makes her AA not land at all.
