Q build probius

Has anyone tried the q build on probius yet ?
I wasnt too sure about its performance but i still gave it a try and i was happily surprised of how much damage that thing can output .
Depending if you have 1 or 2 rifts open and where the enemies are positioned , you can deal quite a large amount of damage , at one point i took more than half of a li mins HP who wasnt even in the rift , she was just beside it when i blew up the whole thing.
Anyone else had good results with it ?

People underestimate it as a poke tool. If you’re having trouble with another laner that can dodge warp setups, its great combined with the 10% base movement

Q build is my go to build all the time, and Probius is my seconds most played hero.

Full talented Q build (aside of 20) can deleted an entire lane of minions in 2 shots minimum with no need for W explosions.

Also it’s a very nice poke build and works great with rift baits, cast Q, spawn rift, Q goes back and blows up the rift.

i haven’t done much probius lately, but q is my preferred build choice when I play it.

Rifts are almost always ‘scary’ for probius as is and they draw the attention for enemy teams looking to avoid damage bursts, so having q be built up to deal more damage and have the added utility of returning back to prob’s position allows for more subtle damage poke and more tricks and combinations for how and when rifts detonate.

I’d just rather have 3 warp rifts at my disposal with insane burst and cc, after questing. Just the greater build imo, for a lot of reasons.

Its true that having 3 rifts is nice and it provide better zoning too , vs mages it seen to work pretty well to keep them out of cast range. But the q build fully upgrades can wipe deal signifiancly more damage to anyone who think still walking through the rift isnt that bad lol
They both got pros and cons

Wait till they try walking in 3 quickly pumped out rifts with 100 extra bonus dmg attached >< best for melee, but good for all as well

When people think probius, its easy to go “just dont get caugh in his W bomb and youll be fine, he does no damage”
Dunno, probius kinda reminds me of junkrat is the sense that people(miself included sometimes…) often just dismiss the damage he is doing and fails to notice it piling up

I still prefer his W build. After I practiced when to shoot his Q after placing his Rift to immediately explode it I got pretty good with that build. It’s a bit like a more delayed Kael’thas Flamestrike. His Q build just feels weird for me, like it’s not Probius, rather a Probius impostor. But maybe I will give it another try.

That because they don’t experience him enough to get the idea over how to deal with him aka very critical pick rate like TLV, they underestimate him without realizing that any good Probius player can top the score board in both siege and hero damage and likely to get an MVP.
