I notice I play with lower levels on weekends and people who genuinely don’t have any regard for staying alive in a match. They’ll literally just run in, damn everything, 1v5, and die. I don’t wanna use the excuse that these are probably just kids not giving a crap, but that’s probably what it is.
Weekends are the perfect time to run a 5 man goon squad!
Just saying.
This post is a troll post, please report.
When you assume, you make an a$$ out of you and me. I have close to a 60% win rate in ARAM over 100 games as my mode of choice. I bring it, trust me, but there is a distinct difference in player base between weekends and weekdays.
lol
(gives you that disappointed mother look)That is a very bold claim knowing I lurk on this forums.
Don’t make me send you to your room…
EU G-chat was infested zombie land so Im glad I dont need to watch it anymore.
I realized this thread was no longer worth responding too. OP just wants to blame everything else for their problems.
And i’d give you that dissapointed-father look too, if you EVER came to me with this non-sense about, “the weekends” holding you back from greatness.
I was trying to be nice about it but, seriously… blaming the weekends for all your failures? That is just pitaful.
That’s not exactly the ‘mindset’ of ‘champions’ there, lol. It’s whatever, you do you.
I’ve oft commented that in many Hots games, I feel like a mum, or kindergarten teacher babysitting children who have just feasted at a candy store.
I’m still waiting for my paycheck, Blizzard!
General chat isn’t even “so bad it’s funny”, it’s just depressing.
You trying to be nice is accusing me of failing and assuming I just suck? I’d love to know what being mean is to you lolol. I’m not blaming weekends for anything other than having a higher chance of a delinquent player base. That has nothing to do with me as a player.
In NA servers at least, general chat feels like a live feed of 4chan’s /pol/ board. It’s genuinely miserable.
Not sure what it is about General Chats in multiplayer games that scream, “Act like a moron and type nothing worth reading here!”.
No repercussions for the most part. Worst that can happen is that someone tries to caps lock you to death. It is not like they can punch you in the face, have you escorted off the property, or some other punishment for being a pain in the backside. Can’t even get tiktoked, twittered, or instagrammed or whatever it is kids do these days. When there isn’t a face to face interaction it is easy to let nonsense flow with intelligence and morals tossed into the bin.
I mean yeah, with weekends you have to swim with no lifeguard on duty. That can be ok, It’s when I have the most free time, and I prefer to play at night. Some of the people I really liked playing with during weekdays logged out by 8, because they had other priorities, which is respectable.
I almost always play on the weekends and its not the smart thing to do but it might be your only good option. I also, like the weekend chaos, I played 7 games with this girl over VC who was 24 and drinking beer the whole time and that was fun and we won a lot of those games so, I guess pick what works best for you. This has been mentioned in this thread before, but this is not new, the don’t play on weekends has been going on forever and is not bad advice.
Whole Moley, this is the first weekend since returning that I’ve played during NA “peak hours” and OMG.
I played yesterday (Satuday day in Australia, Friday night in the States) and it was half decent and today it’s like the total opposite.
Had like 2 good games and the rest are like playing during the week in offpeaks hours. I don’t know how some of these people make it out of bronze 5.
Yet there are also smurf stacks, some people that are weirdly good people but hard stuck and then there is the people I’m pretty sure are trying to derank…
From now on I will be avoiding Saturday nights NA time.
It’s honestly painful having to explain while double soaking is good, leaving team fight at 20 to soak when you haven’t all game is bad!
I got the hell out of General chat on day one. I don’t know why anyone would be in there.
Some people just want to watch chat burn.
These are good points, but at the same time, is this really time well spent?
I had one of the craziest wins just now where the other team just quit playing when they saw one of their teammates start feeding. Tell me this isn’t just a coincidence with the weekend craziness!
Tbh, you really don’t encounter this much flaming and griefing on the weekdays…
