Sorry got messed up when I was drunk, ive changed the post now
He is a very unpopular hero I know but he used to be one of the top 3 champions with a solid 56% winrate for a very long time and now his winrate is 46% without real changes. Any ideas why?

Not a good argument because his pick rate is also so low, just like the Vikings. That means his win rate can swing anywhere from 48 to 60% in the span of a single week, because it’s mostly the same 10-20 people playing all the ranked games on those heroes.
edit- nevermind, OP apparently deleted his post.

He has around 250 games played this week (that is recorded)
Still a decent amound of players play him

Those dedicated people who played him just had some bad games.
Prob is a good character but extremely niche and needs a buff to his worker rush

Because he is not played by many players and one of the best probius players quit hots about month ago. That dragged the hero win-rate down as he was playing good 15-20% of all probius games weekly before. It’s funny how big impact just few players make when hero has such low number of games played.

Yeah, when you have a small sample size, every single game counts. This is like winrates in SL. When you have only 10 games played, every game will matter a lot to your winrate. But if you have 100-200 games played, your winrate if you lose 10 in a row won’t change much.
he’s a trash hero is why. his winrate has only been high because like 3 people choose him in scenarios where they know they’ll win. that’s why his popularity has been consistently low but his winrate sometimes drops when the best probius players stop playing.

Probably:
His winarate depends on a small group of people who play him.
- They did not play much last week
- They had bad games/luck for the last 7 days
- More people who do not “main” probius used him in the last 7 days.
- Some other reason
But I imagine most of it is due to some people who main and are very good have not played him much last 7 days.

I have to admit, its a bit odd to drop 10%
He needs a health buff, most likely. His kit is strong, and I’d say he’s the strongest objective zoner in the game next to Junkrat.
However, anyone that gets to him can kill him in a few hits, and it’s very easy to counterpick him for both split pushing and teamfighting due to his vulnerability.

Probius is actually a pretty bad hero. The only reason he has an amazing winrate is because he has insanely good waveclear and waveclear wins games because most players in most games don’t know how to rotate and waveclear properly and most people just brawl mid.
It helps that probius is bad at brawling mid too so he automatically goes and does the best thing for his team, which is to soak and waveclear properly.
For example, if Jaina’s hero damage were significantly nerfed without affecting her siege damage, jaina might just see an increase in winrate because all the bronze to platinum jainas who used to spend the first 10 minutes of the game brawling for no reason whatsoever, might actually no longer do that, and start soaking, clearing waves and taking mercenaries.
In fact, if they gave probius the stronger ability to teamfight, his winrate would probably drop
I played like 6 games and probably tanked his winrate.
Also my winrate on him is 49% ever since the tanking.
And he was my first main and level 30 on him, so sad.
