Hello Blizzard,

I’ve been trying to get the hang of probius, but there is something bugging me about his combo. It feels really weird. Why is it that we have to hit warp rift in the exact dead center with disruption pulse to make it explode? It should be that you just hit it anywhere and it explodes. Because if someone stands at the edge of the warp rift your first instinct is to hit the enemy hero himself with a disruption pulse. It should in this case do the damage for the disruption pulse and the warb rift combined. After all it is a skillshot and it actually takes planning and timing hitting a moving target. Your gut reaction is also to aim at the enemy hero itself with Q when you first play him. It would also make his combos more intuitive because you wouldnt have to line your orbs up EXACTLY in a line, which makes his combo never feel intuitive.

Or just dont make his Q a skillshot but a click on orb ability if you dont want us to aim at heroes.

Dont change the turrets, they are fine tbh.

Oh, and PLEASE give us 3 pylons for all the lvl 20 talents.

well, I play a lot of probe and almost never miss the rifts. what I would really like is that his q gets a very generous range increase, he gets unstoppable on the first 0.5 of his z and he gets a serious 3rd tier, because 1 build is towers, 1 is rifts… but seriously, Echo Pulse on 1 is a joke, Turbo Charged on 4 I’ve seen anybody picking it, same for Particle Accelerator on 7, Aggressive Matrix on 13 and Shoot’em up on 20.

Actually I think Echo Pulse should be made baseline as it effectively means you can combo easier while running away which is essential on a really squishy hero. Something sorely needed.

I do agree on the 0.5 seconds of his Z to be uninterrupted. That’d be a good quality of life.

Also idk if this will break him, but I think it would be great if his mana pool can scale like other heroes, maybe a bit less than others, but I think this would make him less dependent on set up so much in the late game.

It seems entirely aimed at comboing with his level 20 Probius Loop. The 1.25 second delay before it returns is exactly the time for the warp rifts to reactivate effectively allowing them to explode again. This allows 4 explosions to affect the same enemy over a <3 second period.

In the past this was deemed more damaging than Warp Resonance. The +100 damage from Warp Resonance is not that good value by level 20 given that Warp Rift explosions are a rare 5% damage scaling so the additional warp rift explosion easily drowns out the +300 damage. If the enemy is foolish enough to stay in place until a third warp rift is summoned (since Probius Loop refreshes the duration of the rifts when proced) the damage becomes outright unfair. It can also be repeated every 3 seconds. In ideal conditions this is probably the highest sustain damage of any hero in HotS.

The main problem with the build is actually getting to level 20, since Warp Resonance
provides more value earlier.

It sounds so cool but then again first u give up the entire pre 20 because both the other builds are weak without their lvl 1… and then u have to find people that stay in the rifts forever, which is never the case.
but yeah, thanks for the break down… you’re right and it can be interesting. loop would be always good… I just never can give up the ults’ upgrade
