Nope, thought I saw a HOTS update go through today so I got excited. Even loaded into TRY mode successfully but loading up vs. AI, instant crash.
I dont play this game but… I have also been having crashes with my Gigabyte 5080 Gaming OC and 9800x3d
I crashed once playing Cyberpunk and Fortnite. When it crashes my screen goes black and it says no display connection. I then have to restart my PC.
I havent switched to PCIE 4 yet.
If the problem keeps happening even after switching to PCIE 4 I wonder if I should just return my 5080 and wait like a year for a card where this is fixed… kind of crazy I paid $1,000 when one of the cards features (PCIE 5 compatibility) doesn’t work

Having the same issue. ROG RTX 5080 OC edition, brand new, playing on a 9800x3D.

I just found an annoucement from Nvidia saying there is a hotfix for some games.
(HOTS not listed, but maybe worth a shot. I am at work now so I cannot install it)
Maybe we should join forces and spam the Nvida forums for a HOTS fix, so they prioritize it.
Well, after I installed the hotfix 572.24-desktop-notebook-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch.hf.exe I havent crashed yet… <3

Thank you! Only played 1 game but that’s 1 game more than I’ve ever played since this popped up. Whatever fixed valorant must have fixed HOTS.
Anyone also find it funny that we have 5080’s and yet play a 10 year old game, that is no longer supported that doesn’t benefit from such a high-end card?

The Game is running with the Hotfix, but (5120x1440 windowed FULLSCREEN) is the taskbar from windows still in foreground. i can´t move DOWN the camera with the mouse
You have a 49" ultrawide? I have seen it be a little buggy on resolutions over 4k. It’s almost like you have to restart the game to set the right resolution.
