Pls give Morales self stim drone back 😩

Hyperactivity now grants Morales an untalented version of stim drone (which means without the lvl 20 speed upgrade).

Come on Blizzard please, I want to feel like Medic from TF2 again and ubercharge my teammate as we dive deep into the enemy backlines to tear them apart. Why does my teammate have to go in there alone for the kills :frowning:

Also if you use solo Uber and don’t user Ubersaw you are playing ze doctor wrong. :sunglasses:

Because self drone would be op with lvl 1 talent AA = energy.

If you solo uber and are using the ubersaw, you are wasting valuable time of invulnerability. This ubersaw trick only works against potatoes in the pub mode. And is even better when doing as 2 medics alternating each other as that ‘guarantees’ being ubered all the time.

And not to mention the ways you get countered (that is if you go solo, when going as 2 medics, all damage oriented parts are negated):

  • Scout outruns you
  • Pyro knockback can entirely lock you down
  • A solder/demoman can detonate stickies/rocket jump the moment you are close, therefor guarantee you take damage (and 2 stickies kill a medic easily from point blank!)
  • Heavy rips you apart at an instant
  • You generaly dont get in range of the sniper, and if you are, your ubersaw trick is generaly not going to matter anymore (you are better off with the syringe gun).
  • Against spies it means the spy did his job triggering your uber early.
  • The engineer is normaly close enough to his sentry that the sentry knocks you back, and he can circle strafe around the sentry to keep you out of range long enough (you cant jump on the sentry as medic as the sentry will send you flying backward).
  • Demoknight can charge away (although his base movement speed is generaly already enough to outrun a medic). But the demoknight is the weakest to counter this. But hey, demoknight is considered the noob class of tf2 anyway since you put away the 2 highest damage dealing explosive weapons in exchange for a melee weapon.

If this behaviour is now common in tf2, im glad i stopped playing it years ago. It tells me the state of tf2 only got worse.

It would likely combo a bit too strong i guess ? But with all this tf2 refferences im still just imagining morales glowing red screaming " i am bullet prooooooff "( i know its the heavy who said that but who cares, its still funny imagining morales jumping in tanking everything lol ) while doing tiny AA at +75%speed xD

Unlikely, if you need the lvl 20 talent to make your lvl 1 talent even usable in most cases to begin with then what about the rest of the game? You would basically be throwing until lvl 20? Not to mention theres many games where you dont even reach 20.

I never tried the old Morales but that old Transfusion upgrade for stim drone sounds a lot of fun… Stim drone doesnt exactly make you invulnerable to damage so I doubt you would use it to tank lol. I still need this in my life though

I already use that talent. I also agree, when Morales casts Stim Drone, it should affect her too! Although maybe with a smaller effect on the caster…

For some reason I didnt get this notification. Anyway, the only extra effect your ally gets is 50% speed instead of 25%, it doesnt increase attack speed and it doesnt grant cooldown reductions or other benefits. Personally I believe it would be fine the way it is right now except Morales also gains Stim Drone but with only 25% movement speed bonus. If it ends up being too good they could always tone it down.

just peel with a tassadar with the dark archon ultimate and give him the boost, its the coolest thing i tryed hahaha, the only thing i need at that moment is a loud “POWER OVERWHELMING” while hitting everyone.
