No actually you cannot counter it. Once you turn in coins (very easy to do), you get 12 auto-targeted WHJ Nukes and you cannot stop Blackheart from firing them. There is no commitment to farming coins like there is with gems, there’s no real commitment to securing the objective like there is with Hanamura. There’s no cooldown on using the objective, it’s only down when Blackheart is firing shots. And it’s also the most powerful objective in the whole game by a longshot.
It’s just a poorly designed map that should have been re-balanced/re-designed years ago. At the very least, if they’re not going to change any of the mechanics, they should reduce the damage done by the objective by 75%.

I’ve been saying the same forever. I’m not one of the people who hates BHB (maybe because I main bruisers and Samuro), but the reward for a turnover is too strong. A turnover takes both towers, gate and fort, and only Ragnaros with molten core can mitigate the damage from a couple of shots.

Blackhearts has always been one of the better maps of the game, allowing multiple win conditions. Sadly it’s not possible for lower IQ to grasp the quality of the map.
Braindead take. BHB having “multiple win conditions” is not unique to that map, and those multiple win conditions are made almost entirely irrelevant thanks to BHB’s insanely broken objective. BHB is also the easiest map to snowball with, and thus the hardest for the losing team to recover. The “quality” of that map is in the artwork and nothing more.
Post your IQ test results though since you wanna go this route.

Not sure you should expect any test from him. He is full of himself.

If the post caused you distress, have no fear…it’s going to be alright, so no need to be frustrated. The map rewards awareness and good decision making. Like Haunted Mines, it’s always been one of the best.
Haunted Mines was great, I’ll give you that. First map I played on. I miss it dearly. Also miss old Garden of Terror just for the day/night cycle and shambler seed collection, even if the plant vehicle was rather inferior to the three big guys we get now.
But lol @ the rest of your post and you.
Ye as I thought. He just dodged the IQ bullet just to avoid getting humiliated.

Imo the pirate’s pay point isn’t a real problem, it only ask to have map awareness to cancel the pay, you also see the amount of coins of the other team so you know when you have to keep an eye on it. The only thing you have to know about those shots, it’s they gonna erase 2 towers + 1 door + 1 fort of the map.
As i said earlier the problem is that it becomes really hard to keep an eye on it when you are loosing, especially when you start loosing keeps, because of the minions pressure
In my opinion Blackhearts Bay is one of the best maps we currently have in Hots.
From the visuals, the aesthetics, the crazy good voicelines to the strategies involved in winning, i love that map.
Either a win or a lose i think it is one of the most fun map that you could play in HOTS.
That’s the problem. It does too much. No other objective in this game is this powerful. No other objective in this game is this easy to do. This map is bad solely because of its poorly balanced objective.
Really shouldn’t have to repeat myself on this. This is NOT subjective and is NOT an opinion.
The objective in this map is, objectively, poorly designed. Period. And nothing anyone says will refute this fact.
Incorrect answer. The real solution is to keep BHB and add Haunted Mines back to rotation.
