I went to go pee and ended up brushing my teeth while in a comp queue, now I have to win THREE leaver games to even play the game. I work nights and the game is not populated enough to get into even a leaver brawl within 5 minutes. Then it suggests adding AI players, and I still was in queue more than 5 minutes, not even considering I would rather sit on a razor blade phallic object than play vs AI. I can literally never play this game again, because the leaver system hasn’t been updated with the nadir of this game’s popularity. But I love this game and I want to play it.
Your fault for queing up when you are not ready.

I never want them to get rid of leaver games, because I don’t want these people in my games. I’m quite happy having them play with each other. And it’s not even like the game prevents them from playing. It just asks them to give a crap about what they’ve decided to queue for.

oh, that happens all the time. Just start a new account, it’s not that serious.
you’d need at least 1 opponent to queue up for brawl to get a match, so if no one else is queueing up, you still won’t get a game.
However, other modes can still clear leaver games, so there’s other options than “universe revolve around me because of my lack of foresight”.

You missed the point, leaver games cannot even be completed because of the lack of popularity of the game - glad they have you, big spender
I have been in leaver que many times and got out everytime. Just play ARAM and get out of it. Leaver que serves as punishment for people that dont care about spending 20min of thier time playing a game to end.
Leaving a game should not be free in the long run. It should have consequences. The four others should not be forced to play outnumbered just because one player does this on a whim and only care about himself.
You going off to brush your teeth has nothing to do with the game’s popularity. I’ve had leaver games twice, and completed them each time. If you play at 2:00am then that’s a choice. As is your choice not to play A.I.

It means your opinion is less valid than someone that actually spends money on the game. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be a punishment, but if the punishment cannot be completed by someone that cannot play at hours there are more than a handful of people even online, the game is straight up unplayable. Y’all are really dense, and this thread is a real expose on why this game is dead and will stay dead. Such a soulless group of tryhards.
You could also just do yourself a favor and not start a game when you are not ready yet. Leaver Que was made for exactly this. To punish people that waste other people time by not being ready when they should. And leave games just because they dont feel like completing it.

Players should play Falstad/Abathur/Dehaka/Diablo in my opinion if they want the option to leave a game because those heroes should have the ability to leave and possibly other heroes.
