My kiddo was playing few games last night and this morning in order to finish daily quests (win 3 games / play two games as Diablo hero) and suddenly none of this games been count toward daily quests. At first I thought she may be wrong, but checked myself and yes, she was right. All daily quests still at 0.
Is it pre-patch bug or what?
Make sure you are playing game modes which support daily quest progress.
Versus AI with AI allies does not count. Neither does training. Neither do Brawls.
Versus AI with human allies does count towards dailies, even at Beginner mode. QM, UR and SL also count towards dailies. UR and SL, the two draft modes, are special in that the games played count as every universe and every role towards the dailies. Only the win 3 games daily may be difficult to complete in PvP modes as it does require the specified number of wins, however it can be won trivially in Versus AI mode with human allies if that is a problem.

Always work this way, I’ve been playing most of my games with AI team vs AI at ANY difficulty level. Works fine on my account till this moment. Works fine on her account till last night. Not sure if some changes been made for last 24 hours or so…
Well honestly I never played the mode after the first game or two during the HotS Alpha and do not really know of anyone who still plays it… I mostly play Versus AI with Human allies.
I thought the change was made around the time they overhauled AI modes and such a few years ago. Specifically when they removed training mode as part of Versus AI. Maybe they were referring to just the training mode part of Versus AI no longer counting towards dailies, which was later removed completely.

As far as I remember Training Mode never been count toward dailies, but could be wrong, it’s been a while since.
But question still open - why it’s not working now on some accounts ?

Did the game end in a very short time? Versus AI games need to last more than 3 minutes or something in order to be counted as a game played and so produce experience and quest progress. It is possible Versus AI with AI allies might have even more strict requirements to prevent automated farming abuse.

It doesn’t matter how long or what game lvl - for as long as you played *** games as *** hero, or win *** games as *** hero. Or what ever you’ve been asked in quest log. And it’s been this way since beginning.
I do apologize for the above. “32 minutes” was a typo. I meant to say 3 minutes.
I found it out first hand as against Beginner AI it is very easy to steam roll the AI in 3 minutes with competent human allies.

No, it was more than 3 min. She is a 12yo kid after all, no steam roll or such Just a plane usual games, but for some reason none of them counts toward dailies. That’s why I’ve been asking first place - is it some kind of pre-patch update bug or what? 'Cos everything was ok till last patch been installed…

We’d need some more information to try and figure out what is happening here.
- What is the daily quest not progressing?
- What Hero are they playing?
- What is the game mode? If Versus AI, is it AI Teammates, Coop, or Training?
- Have you tried relogging to see if maybe it updates upon relog?

Standard game restart wasn’t working for some reason.
However I did log off of her account, restart whole rig and then log back in and it seems it’s working now. Don’t know what could be a problem, but will update this thread if it happens again.
