But it’s ranked and at the very immediate beginning of the match. Now I have to waste the next 20 mins of my life when I queue’d for a quick 20-minute match? So I quit because I didn’t have the time to waste and now I have to do 4 quick matches - which I don’t want to do. Get your heads out of your asses.

I am very sure that you need leave at least twice for it to kick you into the leaver queue, there’s some forgiveness, but I am not sure if this is relevant to SL.

It gets even better cause then the match someone letft, the other 4 players are gonna lose for sure and you have to wait 20min for it to be over cause omg never give up in this game.
4 QM games = at bare minimum 5 left games in recent history, and the ‘recent’ part is still up in the air as that could be a rather short time
So quit your moaning and deal with your leavers queue

They are going to being gripping that they too want to just leave the game and re-queue.
I don’t leave games. I just push on to the end even though the result is obvious. I don’t know about you but I don’t really want to play a 20 minute game that is already at a significant disadvantage either.

Oh boo hoo. Cry more. There are things we don’t want to do, but it doesn’t mean we don’t have to do them. However, you caused this yourself and want to avoid the consequences of doing it.
You left the match, doesn’t matter when, why or for how long. You left your team and forced them to play 4v5. That’s not fair to them because you decided you wanted to be afk or quit or whatever. The act of quitting doesn’t go unpunished. The first time you quit, the game gives you a chance. After that, you get a punishment. You get a punishment because it isn’t acceptable to quit games for whatever reason and leave your teammates high and dry.
You did the action, and now you have to suffer the consequences. No one wants to have leaver queue… we know it sucks, but that’s why its a punishment. At the same time, no one wants to play a game where their teammate quit on them. If punishments were pleasant they wouldn’t be punishments and there wouldn’t be a way to deter someone from doing things that harm another person’s gameplay.
And if you happen to quit during draft, that can be seen as cheating or manipulating the game because “I don’t want to play with this certain player, or vs this certain hero” and that’s abusing the draft system. In case that’s what you meant by “very immediate beginning of the match”.
