Pally starts a new A through Z

Well, he is entertaining at the very least.

I just get turned away when he blames his team for something that’s clearly his own fault.

I swear, people in Plat think they’re gods or something with how much they complain about everyone else.

This guy was not harassing a girl or something not so long ago?

I used to like Pally (his A to Z’s got me hooked) but when I went from QM to Ranked I started watch Fan/Khaldor more.

It seemed like he was a bit defeated in the last A to Z TBH and I know he wasn’t doing the best so I’ll probably check this one out for the support at least :stuck_out_tongue: and to see how he’s fairing these days!

That was a while ago, and he has been sober since then.

Argh, he’s using Alex’s W so badly…

The drunk Qhira player made me rotfl.

Oh dear. You hate to see it. Murky has great AOE and capable of killing two siege giants equally as fast as killing one making the bribe redundant.

I don’t mind if someone has poor micro. People can get caught up in the heat of a fight and that’s okay. But man, watching poor macro play hurts to no end.

All that aside, Pally seems like a pretty nice guy and the kind of friend you’d like to hang out with irl. Even though I’m a total stranger, i do worry about his health.

He was once playing junk rat and he made a big play with rip tyre. He was so excited he started yelling and cheering and the exertion caused him to black out. He fell limp in front of the keyboard and his character stood AFK on the screen for a solid minute. Hard to watch.

I think he’s had some pretty extensive surgeries in the past. Dehaka holds a place in his heart because Dehaka was released the day of the anniversary of a surgery he survived.

He had severe sinus issues when he was a teen, so they did surgery to fix the issue. The surgery went bad, causing sinus leakage into his brain, so they had to do emergency brain surgery to fix that problem.

Haha, it’s interesting you say that, especially since I believe you’re a healer main. It’s the opposite for me. A healer’s application of macro is a bit different and can be limited if looked through the traditional sense, so they have to shine at micro. If you’re slow to start, people just die and that makes it even more difficult to catch up. As a healer, you’re also constantly watching people in combat, so you see everyone’s micro mistakes more closely than most other roles. Luckily, if you yourself are good, you can lessen the impacts of their mistakes and still make great plays to assist people.

Regardless, he is not good at either. His reaction times are just generally slow, which is why I guess he gets so excited when his skill shots connect or he wins something because it’s not the norm.

That’s a cool story about Dehaka though. Dehaka also proved that Blizzard can release a hero that isn’t obscenely overpowered or underpowered. So he has a special place in my heart too. Haha, I will forever still remember the bad burrows though (not from MFPT specifically, but everyone). It’s crazy to think he can now just move baseline.

A healer main hey? I’ll take it. Thanks for thinking of me.

Anduin’s life grip gives you that sweet, sweet feeling everytime.

Whenever a new hero gets released i would typically watch streamers instead of jumping on the PTR. I remember when Dehaka was released all the streamers would complain about the huge delay on his tongue. Their comments would be that the speed needs an increase for Dehaka to be viable.

It’s funny to think that after all this time there’s no change to the tongue speed as players have adapted.

…adapted…
…lol. I didn’t plan that.

I beat that guy in a 1v1 Uther vs Uther. Ironic.

Pally was the guy who originally drew me to HotS after briefly trying it at the OW cross promotions. He was pretty cool and despite what people say, plat is still slightly above average and the way most people actually play the game. Maybe I’ll watch it for a bit to see if I’d do things different today myself.

Ugh, it’s so hard to watch.

I reckon he’s a better player than he is in these videos because he’s using A LOT of his focus on explaining and talking about Anduin’s abilities and what not. (Or atleast I would hope so).

Also he is “naturally” a Tank/Bruiser player. So he has a hard time playing heroes that don’t fall into a more aggressive style of play.

Yeah, as someone that’s a Murky main (level 557), I can definitely say that he’s not a good Murky at all. Actually, a lot of the top streamers, that are great on most heroes, usually aren’t the greatest on Murky.

i like palies content in general.
though i m very disagreeable about globe changes and the way globes work being a benefit / making it easier for aba to soak that s just wrong
-u cant soak from bush anymore
-ur soak range was heavily reduced because of this change too
-u dont specifically need aba for soaking the smaller globes
-u lose about 75% of ur soaking ability as aba once the wall in a lane is down compared to before xp change

Ugh, this guy is such a goober but the Alex vid was a pretty fun watch.
But it’s got to feel pretty bad to be that team that gets beat by the 0% win rate Andy xD
