One thing that urks me about the difficulty rating

Why is Uther considered “Easy”

Buy him a couple of drinks and he’s yours.

“The light has low standards.”

On topic, his mana management alone makes him not exactly “easy”.

The difficulty rating is quite outdated do to reworks, balance changes and such.

Uther was designed as an “easy” hero because “cleanse” and “divine shield” make him hard to stun. The playerbase quickly found out that the precision to properly use such abilities required greater skill than most healers.

Also, Lucio, possibly the easiest healer in the game (competing with Lili) is somehow considered “medium” difficulty.

eh, lucio requires quite a bit more skill than lili to be effective, lili is just hold down q and don’t walk directly into more than 3 of the enemy team.

I would say the difficulty is more about getting the max out of the hero, not how hard they are to play.

See Abathur.
You can sit in base and sometimes hat someone.
Are you kind of effective? Yes you are.
Are you taking the best of him? No you are not.

Soaking lanes at the right time, mining the right paths to provide more vision and deny gangs, to switch allies with hat at the right time, use clone at the right and and the right target, etc etc.
Now you can get why Abat is considered Ultra Hard.

Abby is so hard because he’s such an unconventional hero and requires big game knowledge in order to be effective.

Uther should be at least a medium because he functions very differently to typical supports.

Lucio is medium because he can become super mobile with his wall ride, push off, high five, and can make big plays with his boop.

I don’t know if malfurion is still listed as easy but he is definitely not easy anymore
