Not a fan. The skins or manga. Manga was fun at first when it was about an OP shut-in and poking fun at silly super hero tropes, but it quickly devolved into never ending battles of poorly fleshed-out side characters no one really cared about.
I watched the anime and I liked it a lot, but you are absolutely right with characters having zero depth. I of course hate the whole ranking system that plagues a lot of Japanese manga/anime.
I really like that we have Saitama who can deal with any threat that’s punchable but depressed, bored, while we have these serious heroes and other folks who struggle, and have their rightful -but considering OPM exists, comical- sense of pride and ego. It’s a nice perspective. But true that Caped Baldy should be shown more.
I like One Punch Man sadly I think the skins suck.
