One map specific tips/facts for each hero

A while ago I did one hero specific tip for each hero. I must say i learned a lot. I still want to learn more.

So these are more cool tips/facts about map specific.
-Artanis with amateur can do a bruiser camp on sky temple/cursed hollow on lvl 1
-Varians victory rush + tomb of spider queen makes sure he gets rapid substain cooldown
-Maeive contaiment disc works on volskaya protector
-Artanis on battlefield has a spot next to the tower walls where you can swap someone over
-Stucovs silence can interupt channeling the obj from the safe side at alterac pass (top camps)
Maybe you know the perfect aba mine spot for a perfect takedown. Share your knowledge ^^

Divine Star nicely reveals the large bush down in midlane in Dragon Shire

I’m pretty sure Zul’jin can outrage the BoE Immortal’s ranged AoE attacks once he has both range bonuses from his Axe? and Headhunter quests.

Don’t bother with it, anyway, though. Always pick Boneslicer on BoE, you’ll get way more use out of it.

Which map?

Oof nice catch lol, edited post

I’ll share my tidbits for a few maps.

Sky temple

  • The objective, the temples: To me, winning the obj doesn’t necessarily mean you obtain every shot from temple, rather more than half of them or more than enemy team can get from is enough, the other half/the rest of shots you don’t have to get it if it’s too risky to compete, go and do something else that get you more advantages.

Hanamura

  • the bridge near the centre: It’s good spot to stall/slow obj, you can’t be surrounded unless enemy walk to the other side of the bridge, your warrior could just walk back & forth to stop obj while distract enemy to deal with you on the bridge, very effective if enemy have more than a melee, your backline can support and pressure the enemy from the back as well.

Samuro clones can appear to channel objectives

Samuro clones can soak cursed minion waves on Cursed Hollow by oneshotting them. You can use Shukuchi or Q over the wall to get into the core zone during the curse to soak all three waves at the same time.

Pure PVE Way of the Burning Blade build with Illusion Master is almost unbeatable on Sky Temple

Blaze’s Bunker is a good body-blocking tool, so don’t be afraid to use it to zone people. For example, it fits perfectly in the main “entrance” to the beacons on Braxis, so if you need to channel for just a few more seconds, and won’t be needing it in a team fight any time soon, drop it and channel in peace.

Yes, an empty bunker is that scary, Varian had to go PROTECTED.

Sounds like an actual SC structure blocking strat kek

This is satisfying to watch

Bunker body-blocking also works really well in the narrow corridors on Tomb of the Spider Queen and Towers of Doom. It is sort of like a discount Force Wall at times. Get armor, split the enemy team, and kill them all.

Bunker is my favorit ults to see in action!

Tassadar:

Psionic Storm:

If you go solo lane, go to enemy gates before waves coming, use your D to see enemy wave, place your W to hit: Gates, Tower, minions and Wall (this is not necessary). Use it when first minion will be on radius of W to get max hits for one W. Very good when you took W quest.

Next - wait when enemy wave will meet your wave, then put your W to hit all 7 minions to get max hits and deal max dmg on them, W deals instant dmg after using, so you can reveal stealth heroes like Valeera, Samuro, Nova, Zeratul…

Try to put your W to deal max dmg before enemy will leave it, W good on maps, like Braxis, Volskaya, because enemy heroes will stay there and you can deal free dmg on them.

2 W are enough for one wave. Tassadar can double soak.

Use your W 24/7. CD is 8 seconds.

You can also just look at your minions instead of using D as they will be mirrored on the invisible enemy side. So when your minions get to gates, you can w the enemy gate.

Chen: globes quest on Braxis Holdout. Grab the top globe on cooldown, prioritize globes over almost everything, including zoning your enemy laner off of globes, and you can finish your globe quest in like less than 10m. That makes laning hell for a lot of laning opponents post-7 when you get BmB. Sometimes EB/other 7s are still the better pickup but Braxis is the top map for globes.

Junkrat: Selfcast his mine to instantly drop it at his feet (Alt+W) for relocating yourself. It’s much faster than using your mouse and clicking where to throw it.

Junkrat on Alterac Pass: depending which side is your nexus is on. Lets say right side. If you have a mine on the bottom/right side objective point to give you vision. You can sit in your behind the walls and near fort and infinitely poke/stall with your Q as long as you can properly manage the CD on your Q. This also works if your nexus is on the left can stall the upper left objective point.
