Old threads getting ghost-bumped

There’s currently several threads that are over a month old that have suddenly reappeared on the front page, yet no one seems to have bumped them.

Couple examples:

Posted June 22, has no replies, let alone recent ones, but was bumped 8 hours ago (which means no one could have bumped it and then deleted their post).

Posted June 24, likewise has no replies and was bumped 9 hours ago.

Posted June 30, yet again has no replies and was bumped 9 hours ago.

Posted July 22, ditto.

This one’s last reply was August 9, but it was also bumped 9 hours ago.

There are a bunch of others, and the most recent one I found was last posted in 10 days ago but says it got bumped 9 hours ago.
Anyone know what’s going on?

Only thing that comes to my mind is that someone bumped them and the post got mod-removed, otherwise the forums experience a weird bug.

The thread doesn’t drop down if an admin or mod deletes the necro.

There was this guy I saw flaming on a couple threads a couple hours ago, and the timing does line up. Think he bumped them all before he got the boot?

Yea so someone replied to them with uh distasteful language. We mass flagged them and they were removed but remained bumped.

It was a hardcore LOL fanboi that ran rampart on our forum calling us all the N word and told us all and the devs to kill us self. He even said in your thread he knew you and hoped you die in a car crash.

He keep on calling us blizzard fanbois and tried to tell us why this game need a surrender mode. But after we found out who he was he went full metal jacket and ran rampart in all threads he could find.

It was. He was calm for about 1 hour until we found out who he really is. Then he went full Taylor 1 mode on everyone and wanted us all dead including the devs and said the N word like 100 times.

Wow what a coward. If that guy talks like that behind the computer obviously hasn’t talked like that in real life, otherwise he would’ve been knocked out for it and ended up in intensive care. Wishing death threats is very heinous.

I’ve had idiots like that whisper me in general chat like that and it does shake you up and make you feel powerless at the same time.

Hopefully none of the Devs read any of that cesspool of messages. Good riddance.
