I suppose Murky is good on Dragon Knight. The fact that the objective on that map is split up means spread out fighting, which is ideal compared to 5v5’ing where Murky just gets blown up, especially before 13, especially in the beginning. Murky can also grab the objective and doesn’t have to be worried about dying afterwards and can try to maximize structure damage. And he’s real good on a lane; he can simply pressure the enemy laner off over time / deaths and eventually get the objective, and his constant respawning on the lane helps protect the lane from mercs, pushers or simply minions. Also plenty of mercs on that map to take/bribe.

Murky isn’t as ideal on ā€˜hold the item’ maps like Blackheart’s, Nuke and Spider’s map, since he can easily lose what he’s holding.

He also can get a lot of stacks for his Slime on the Dragon itself, I once stacked my quest upon reaching level 16 thanks to the dragon knight.

Extreme gamble in QM, where Li-ming exists. His safety bubble helps a lot with denying Genji resets, and if he’s decent he can hinder Dehaka and Alarak through slime. But ming outranges him and greatly benefits from his death, even if he just gets AA’d to death by Valla or ZJ.

Speaking of which, ranged AA is the best counter to Murky. You can safely kite him down, kill his puffer, and easily outtrade him in lanes. Just watch out for Fish Oil at 16, as he can then slow you at range.

Murky tier is real. But at least it isn’t Tassadar tier.

I, too, would hate seeing Murky regularly in pro games

Murky is pretty OP in games where the players don’t know how to soak and merc properly.

That means all games below diamond, which is about 95% of the player population.

In other words, murky is OP lel

Well, as I’ve already said…

Oh… and never forget to play Murky with Murky’s Announcer, for a complete Mmrgglmglrrrmmglarg experience !

Yay, cant wait for you to explain heroes to us yaay
