Her kit does not do anything for this game. She has no wave clear. Only single target damage. Yet she one of the most played hero’s. Most of them are egotistical jerks that blame there teammates for everything. She cant defend forts. Shes squishy. She has no place in a game like this.
You have to make a whole team around her for her to even have any remote value.
Even Diamond-masters players have under a 50% win rate with her.
nova could be good if the people would stop using the super bad tripple tap heroic, its so amazingly bad and everytime i see that ultimate i either chuckle to myself or cry depending on which side she is on.
People play her for the ugh…

Might as well be a 4v5 game at that point.
Also if you want to play Q build to snipe stuff (each miss means losing all stacks), why not just pick Raynor and deal roughly similar damage with free auto attacks, get a peel, a self heal etc.?
Just rework that abomination from the scratch including her talents.
nova is super strong her only weakness is if there’s not a mage or some kind of nice aoe dmg char in her team, like literally close to no weakness
just most of the community don’t know what she can do, why she’s usefull, you know like this (over-huge) part of the community who always says “no nova”, yeah you guessed it maybe 70% of this playerbase are noobs who know barely HotS

Yeah pretty much. They play her because they think she’s hot.
-No mobility
-No wave clear
-Self rooting heroic
-Decoys so useless they sometimes stand and do nothing
-Mediocre damage even at full snipe stacks
-Dies easily to divers and other assassins, no self defense mechanisms of any sort
I feel nothing but desperation when she is picked in our team at any time. I don’t mind if the enemy picks her.

basicly you need to be smart and put 6 times the effort in to be good for the team but people hardly play her serious which means she is always just a really worthless asset to the team.
My KT wouldn’t stop pyroblasting the full health stitches this morning. That doesn’t seem to just be a Nova problem.
Nova can be good, though she’s not as fun as she used to be.
Triple tap isn’t bad, it’s just people don’t understand angles, timing, and target priority.
Yeah and you have 100% more support for your team. Both ultimate’s provide a lot for the team.
excuse me? please explain how a stationary global map reveal single target ultimate is better then orbital strike that zones, helps in teamfights, has no range and doesnt make you vulnerable at all better.
Not to mention Precision also clears big waves in an emergency and after yesterday patch will now auto-collect the exp orbs.
It also goes very well with combos like ring of frost, vp, mosh pit and so on, and you can use it anywhere on the map even if the fight is happening far away.
Well, if you’re not an idiot, the stationary status is a non-issue. Hence, timing, targets, and angles is important and why I mentioned it.
I’ve never been in a game and thought, “wow, precision strike, so threatening. Let me just stand in it.” It’s like a global minion killer which is so underwhelming.
About a million things block triple tap too, not just tanks but walls, structures, it’s bugged at the moment so even bruisers block it so you can hide behind a mercenary.
Really it is the ultimate silver / low MMR heroic, only very casual players pick it.
Because so many bads misuse it. Most of them get a knee jerk reaction at seeing low health and fire it without thinking about obstacles and the like so it gets a bad reputation.
If silver players pick it, they’ll use it like silver players but then again, the same could be said for any other ultimate used in a silver way.
are you sure the hero it self is bad but not the one that’s playing her? because i don’t know man i climbed to masters with her so hmmm not sure about all this Nova hate honestly. this playerbase always judges a hero from how the player plays it but doesn’t bother to think “the player is bad at playing the hero”
Nova indeed got such a horrible Nerf and she needs attention cause she isn’t as good as she used to be but that doesn’t make her “a bad hero” it’s all up to who plays her and how they play her. ofc if you just use your ult on a “tank” with full hp which i’ve seen before multiple times a Nova going triple tap and using it on a full hp Tank that’s pretty much the hero’s fault? ofc not it’s the stupid who’s playing her and messing up a lot
Nah I don’t play her but almost every game i’m matched with her is a loss.
and why do you think you lost because of the hero but not the idiot that’s messing up with her? you shouldn’t call the hero it self bad while it’s the player’s issue which is being bad at playing the hero and positioning horribly.
