Nothing's happening with this game!

Agreed. And this happens in SO many games.
Although i am happy with 1 - 2 new heroes a year.
It’s more than OW gets lol

Difference of opinion.

The reworks blizzard pumps out aren’t successful either. Cassia? Broken. Falstad? Mega broken. Gazno? Broken. Dva? She made the holy trinity/Quadra along with gazno at the time

Xul? Terrorized the meta with BL rehgar last March for at least three months

Tracer? Busted but people cited her bug was the only thing making her strong

Valla? … her aa build needed a buff. Q and w were fine as aa are underpowered in this game compared to mage burst. Most marksmen aren’t pure aa which says how powerful mages are

Raynor? Still arguably one of the top 3 marksmen

Heroes should aim to be the 50% mark among the strongest and weakest hero. None of these heroes needed a rework (support the movement) with the exception of dva. The devs wanted heroes to be more generalists instead of leaning into their niche. They just don’t balance the game “correctly”. Others may support the devs’ visions

Yeah but soem deal with it more than others. Heroes basically ignores it.

The only measure of a “successful” rework you’re applying is how balanced heroes are when initially released. Considering we don’t have an active PTR most of those heroes weren’t wildly overpowered like release Li-Ming for example.

Most of the reworks you cited gave all those heroes more talent diversity and just made them more useful in general. D.Va especially went from almost a joke to a very viable bruiser.

Yes it would be lovely if they could quickly hotfix a hero that is overperforming like they once did, but we all know why they can’t anymore.

All of those heroes are still above average in power. They’re more than just viable. It took bloodlust on rehgar being nerfed to finally end the Xul meta

Bloodlust has always been a meme on Rehgar.

This game is easily salvageable. Just needs better management talks and ways to make it profitable again. I could see the game being pulled out from “classic” tab then, and have more devs come back. But who knows. Since every resource gets poured into D4, OW2 and WoW at the moment. And Blizzard employees don’t get paid that much, I heard at least. But I find it funny that they’re also talking about different projects or new projects as well, like it’s always better to make a new blockbuster game rather than fix old habits or mistakes.
