No Way to surrender in QM

why can’t a team vote to surrender? I feel some games are just a total curb stomp and its boring have to wait it out doing nothing to the other team just to lose anyway.

If u want to surrender use AltF4 and go make a pizza. You will be much happier next match

You can vote to surrender, it just requires all 5 votes. The way to vote is to exit the game. When all 5 players are disconnected it gives timer of 1 minute to reconnect or game is forfeit.

This game sure needs a surrender option now. We lost bunch of high skilled players since November 2018 and I cannot just bear to watch my team feed or deny to communicate with team (sits in one lane, soaks one lane braindead). We could at least get a surrender option for QM, if we want to have a fast going game.

So sad to see this topic emerging again and again… give this option and you would be barely able to finish a game, one person get’s tilted and that’s it.

Even if that button would require all teammates to press it, what stops ppl doing this if they see they are loosing, let’s say after 20 minutes ? Just one press and doesn’t count?

Now let’s say there is another requirement, it can be done only in the first 5/10 minutes of the game. What happens if one person wants to surrender because of a lost objective or other minor issue and everyone else disagrees? A good amount of times I’m sure ppl would just start trolling/afk just to give that extra reason for others to quit/regret not doing it from the start.

Better way - find friends to play with… from real life… from the game… ppl you know you gonna have some fun with despite anything.

This has been explained a 1000 times, and i understand your frustration. The problem is, you can 100 percent come back from even 60 deaths and no kills depending on what happens. One wipe at 20 mins and you can destroy their core. It seems to be more of a problem in the afternoon, about people giving up, but yep when people do what you do, which is die 2 times, go this is over, and give up then just hit random buttons so not to get kicked.

I have played 100s of games, where my team didnt give up and had huge death loss over them.

Are you even aware of quick match expanded search? That’s really not true.

You can cancel the search before it goes into expanded search and try again.

The impatience is palpable anymore, an extra 2-10 minutes is not the end of the world. Suck it up, cupcake.

To me that means it’s an option people want? Personally I think it would need major restrictions in place like for example maybe if a player went AFK for 3+ minutes. Personal I’m still on the fence about this topic

While I was totally against this option at first I have changed opinion. For me since the xp changes I have found there to be less come backs for major deficits. Also IMO games are also dragged out longer whether you are going to loose or not. Before I believe some teams would just stomp and finish within 10 minutes. Now a stomp still lasts at least 15 minutes, which to me makes it seem worse (I could be wrong)

But in saying all the above I did have my first win with a bot Alarak. The funny thing about it was that it actually went to charge then I killed the opponent and it stayed like that until another enemy come up to it (about 2 minutes)… Then got the kill lol.

There should be for extended dcs. Playing with a bot wastes 4 players time by forcing then to play a slow, painful and unfair game.

It would waste 9 peoples time but blizzard keeps dropped players a secret to opponents so they happily play along.

If all 10 players wouldnt agree to something at the start of a match then there is no reason to make them play like that at all.

And btw, no you dont win bot games all the time so let me stop you right there.
