i have no sound in heroes of the storm, for no reason other than it could be one of your patches.
i run win 11. and m y soundcard works in all other programs i run…
so it is realy borring to play game without sound. and yes my default card is the right one. and even if i press ingame specific sound default. no sound. i have tried the repair game thing.
Is there a chance you may have accidentally disabled sound and music through the keyboard shortcuts: “CTRL + ‘S’” (Sound) and “CTRL + ‘M’” (Music)?
The use of these shortcuts are not reflected in the ingame sound options menu.
The best way to check if sounds and music is enabled is in try mode, as a text message will pop up saying if you enabled or disabled sounds/music.

AHHA! that is hidden, then that is not nice, for i have repaired and reinstalled game. and pulled my hair. so i guess it is reset on reinstall?
I will try your trick now. it works. but my feedback on this, is that even reinstall dont reset it.
I trink it is to easy to accidentally press thoes keys, in stressed battle.
Please change it to like cotrl+shift+ S/M and reset it on reinstall, atleast.
I hope you see the logic.
