No Patch every 15 days?

It’s been 15 days since Anduin was released on Hots and 23 days since the PTR.
I think Blizzard got enough data to agree with the most of people saying he’s under performing and he needs a up.

In addition to that, we’re still waiting for Anub’s nerf (or killing) and same for Rexxar.

Where is the patch note ?

Didnt they just neef anub though?

73% popularity with highest/second highest winrate consistently.
Anub is either no pick when he was utterly nerfed, or first pick/ban when they buff him a bit.
He’s too polarizing due to his 2 stuns with rewind and cocoon.
But I don’t like the idea of him getting huge nerf or rework though…

this game has 2developers
what do u want
we will have 2heroes per year maybe 3 max
so less balance patches too

They said they would do patches 3 weeks after a release/rework.

as the game dies off blizz will let go of more people so it will only get slower, and the changes will be mostly insignificant.

Bad designers have made this an unpopular game.

I get +100k healing with Anduin almost all of my games. Is that under performing?

Why do people keep saying this.

Anduin is pretty balanced. Probably one of the most balanced releases in my memory.

HotS logs seems to indicate that too with a 50% pick rate and 50% win rate.

And that win rate also includes all of the learning associated with playing him.

I am excluding bronze and silver in my data because that is mostly a l2p issue with their 45% win rate.

I dont know my winrate atm with him in just generaly QM play, but its pretty high I am sure because I can only remember losing a couple of games with him and I am level 8 I think.

He is one of the few healers that actually makes me feel like I can turn a fight around with well placed positioning and cd usage.

Yes, he is balanced - just doesn’t have any heroics. Salvation get’s easily interrupted by every sneeze before getting value and Lightbomb has the impact of a basic ability (on a much to long cd) instead of a heroic.
If you want a healer with playmaking impact on a game, there is no reason to pick Anduin - unless in the extrem niche position to counter Stitches / Garrosh, and even there his trait has such a long cd in comparison with hook / throw, it isn’t really worth picking Anduin over a more capable healer.

He has a 50% pick and 50% win rate basically in Gold-Masters so someone is picking him.

Only because he is new and maybe the AA syle caters more to some ppls playstyle - but outside of that, he’s bad; other healers have the same amount of healing (or more) with better cc and impactful heroics.

He definitely needs something. I feel like hes useless in team fights outside his salvation ult.

I feel like diablo needs another round of nerfs due to his pick/ban/popularity ratings. I guess he just has the highest reward for what little risk he has to take to achieve it.

I feel like anub is just downright scary right now, his CDs are pretty quick for what they are able to achieve and the ability to just cocoon the heals and kill everyone is far too oppressive. It’s not over powered, but it is extremely oppressive. If you have KT and Anub on one team, cocoon a hero, watch team clump around the egg, KT casts aoe and bombs and watch everyone die.

KT needs a round of nerfs too, his abilities are a little too oppressive given the meta right now.

Hanzo could use a nerf. So could Maiev. Once you get the one-two punch down with maiev, its all over. Watch team clump, fire your spirit in the opposite direction, chain, blink. You pull the team at max distance. It’s as deadly as a single garrosh throw, but youve chained more than one hero.

I feel like if you manage to get Anub, Hanzo, Maiev, KT, and any heals on one team is all over for the other team.

this is alot of his problem. his basic ability are fine, maybe blizz can play with the numbers as they see fit. the ults are kinda meh. salv is a nice heal but way too easy to stop. lightbomb, its needs a buff in almost everything. it needs a bigger radius more dam, and more shield. u as a healer give up alot to go dam, yet blizz gave very little reward.

hate to break it to you but most likely its a l2p issue.

I have not played him in ranked yet, but leveling him up in QM and he is actually a monster for me atm.

20 games played with 3 losses which 1 was an actually feeder.

KDA of almost 10.

I never get out healed and most of the time I hit 100k and around 25% more than the enemy healer. His through put is fine.

And yes I know that is QM and not ranked, but the thing is you can get a feel for a hero. Especially because there is no meta to bias you like in ranked.

Also tentonhammer lists him as the highest tier outside of being broken and he is ranked close to Ana who is overly strong atm. And yes I know its tentonhammer but still they have a general idea for a hero. Certainly wouldnt have a B hero in S tier.

The issue is you have to work hard to get all of that out of him keeping up autos, pumping out flash, and constantly in position to get high value from star or to save someone with a lof. Also if you notice his win rate goes from 44% in bronze silver ranked to 51%ish in gold+ so again its a l2p for the difference there.

HWS isnt game breakingly strong but at least in QM, I manage to get some value out of it everytime. It very quickly could become game breaking with much messing around.

Using Blizz DIA + M filters Anduin sits at 26,3% popularity and 50,2% winrate. Thats 3rd lowest winrate with good popularity.

Adding last one Blizz uses, 10+ hero levels, Anduin got 4,9% popularity and lowest winrate in the game 49,9%. Even when people who played him bit more than others, he is still underperforming.

Giving him better ults should be enough to push him up in the ranking.

EDIT - his 10+ lvl % popularity is lower than it should be, since hotslogs automatically includes 30 last days.

Why do people try to get away with this kind of English?

tentonhammer hasn’t really udated it’s guides since HGC died and has no reliable source for their guides or tier list updates anymore - I woudn’t count on that homepage nowadays.

I’ve played Anduin enough to compare him to my other healers - he sucks and that’s no l2p issue. Usually I’m high above a 50% winrate with my healers, but with him I have no impact on the game (similar to Alex) and was barely able to keep a neutral winrate. In only 5% of those games (yes, QM too, since he - although it’s a wasted slot - got banned too often in unranked) it was reasonable to take Salvation, because the enemy team for once hadn’t 5 basic ability interrupts. I don’t want to hope that my enemies are stupid and don’t use their interrupts to maybe get some little value out of that heroic - I mean, you also woudn’t pick Moshpit with E.T.C. if every hero on the enemy team has a stun, instead you do stagedive.

And I wasn’t complaining about his healing output - just about his useless heroics and his playmaking potential. I had no problem with him getting good healing numbers; the healing just doesn’t do enough outside of stats padding.

I still see no reason to play him further than lvl 10 if he doesn’t get buffed with the next balance patch.
